The linked video was edited to remove graphic content by blurring. What are the guidelines on posting already softened video? What would be the point of linking
a video where the "graphic" content was completely excluded? The linked video is nothing like real graphic content where a captive Russian soldier is decapitated
with a knife by Wahabi militants in Chechnya. In fact, the linked video is something you can find on CNN et al. Blurred images of victims being subjected to violence
is normal procedure for regular television and should be good enough for this forum.
A video where you see someone getting killed even if blurred out is still someone getting killed and not something that can be posted without a warning.
I am going to make descriptions of links mandatory too, so that when you click on a link you have an idea of what information will appear on the screen that opens up... the test for the situation is... would you show your grandmother or work colleagues in a work setting this video or picture or article... especially if that includes women and people of different races and religions... if you don't think any of those people would object then post with a description.
If you think someone might object then a warning and a description that describes what the warning is for.
This is a military forum, but honestly I don't come here to see dead bodies or people killing other people.
I understand that is what war is all about... if western politicians understood better what war is all about I think they would be less keen to start them.
Porn is banned... with description and warnings... no porn.
Violence and death and other objectionable materials are allowed as links when properly labelled and warned about and that they are in a suitable thread.

I watched that video and cannot unsee that.
By this forums rules if you want to post that and describe it properly, with a clear warning of the content, then that is not technically against our rules... I would say that I would delete it anyway because I would see that as disrespect to Russian soldiers and as supporting terrorism.
This forum is about learning about Russia and finding the truth beyond the lies the western media and western governments spew about them and their history and their products...
