    It seems Israel wants to fight everyone... I suspect they will get their wish...

    Plus you are supposed to wait a period of time and then say Putin has done nothing.

    Saying Putin wont do anything is a prediction and opinion of a Putin hater... which is worthless and pointless.

    I really wouldn't be relying on a Ukro propagandist for my news on the Middle East. Or on anything.

    The Israelis hit something around that area and set off some fireworks but no-one else apart from this shmuck is claiming that it was the Russian base at Hmeimim.

    Israel destroyed weapons and ammunition depots a few kilometers from the Russian base. Russia, of course, did not try to intercept the missiles, a standard passivity that met with outrage from the Syrians.

    Why would it try to intercept anything? Russia is not at war with Israel.

    But it is an ally of Syria and is there to defend them. I know that Russia will never oppose Israel, but it should intercept missiles attacking Syrian warehouses, especially those flying near the Russian base. Israel does whatever it wants in Syria and Russia is passive.

    It's an ally of Syria on Syrian territory. If Syria wants to be involved in the Palestine conflict and supply Hezbollah or Hamas or whoever, then godspeed, but that's nothing to do with Russia anymore than the Ukraine war is anything to do with Syria, and Russia is not going to provide air defense cover for them and get involved in hostilities with Israel on their behalf it's as simple as that.

    Iran frequently tries to sneak arms depots under the Russian AD umbrella without Russian permission. Israel spots them and they contact the Russians for deconfliction and they blow the stuff up.

    Moral of the story - get your own AD umbrella or offer something worthwhile in exchange for services rendered.

    Russia already bailed Iran`s botched mission to assist Syria - losing 90% of the country before the Russians intervened - thank you very much Iran. Surely they don`t have to wipe your asses too?

    Some sources say Hezbollah has 1 million rockets (all classes mixed). Before that it was some 70 000 I think. Iran successfully armed them to the teeth.

    They also have brought tons of drones and cruise missiles IMO. Israel hasn't yet faced a missile attack combined with a launch of hundreds of hypersonic missiles and a let's 500 shahed drones from Iran and a hundred short range Fatah 110 with a hundred of shahed drones from Lebanon/Syria.

    If israeli are dumb enough to hit Russians and push them to coordinate such attacks with satelittes and intel, plus weapon delivery like Yakhont and Geran 2 missiles or Iskanders, they will loose all their advanced planes, AD, ships and military industry in few days.

    As for Israel's attacks on Hezbollah's supplies from Syria, it is very doubtful that most of them are successful. Or that they are real, since it is well known how deceitful the Zionists are. For those who do not believe this, the best proof is to see the reality that Hezbollah is constantly increasing its weapons.
    Therefore, it is clear that the Israelis have not been able to prevent the supply of the Lebanese resistance.

    Yes but I doubt the Assad govt has any control over much of this stuff going on out there. 

    Russia saved Syria and by extention Iran's ass. And Iran won't even repay Russia with a decent sized arms order. One that they really need judging by the state of things.

    Iran has bought Yak-130s and they wont be needing those if they weren't going to be buying something else... I suspect Su-35s will be on the menu as a good replacement for the F-14s.

    MiG-29Ms locally produced or MiG-35s would be a good replacement for the F-4s and F-5s they had, but then that reveal of the AESA radar and IIR optics pod and the wingtip mounted EW pods and jammer pods to turn the Yak-130 into a light fighter might be directed at Iran and could possibly be fitted to their version of the F-5 as well.

    I suspect Iran would be interested in navigation and command and control equipment from Russia that they could buy with gas and oil... I suspect their other sources for electronics will be China who might accept payment in oil or gas, but equally might demand US dollars which would be difficult for Iran to source.


    Recent events will make Russian communications devices more attractive to Middle East countries and they will want to receive them direct of course.

    Many electronics suppliers just burned a few bridges, whether they cooperated or not.
