Right now, Armenians are putting all of their weight on recapturing Shusha city because a Turkish and Russian ceasefire agreement is about to be announced really soon.
The deal will mandate placing a Turkish and Russian peacekeeping mission in the area.
The ceasefire deal is conducted by both Russian President and Turkish President, which will require all parties to ceasefire and maintain whatever positions they currently have.
If Shusha city is kept with Azerbaijan, they will build up a strong presence during the ceasefire.
According to the draft deal, Armenia will immediately withdraw from five out of seven occupied raions (a type of administrative unit of several post-Soviet states) surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, once both sides agree to the conditions of the truce.

Interesting. I wouldn't be happy with Turkish peacekeepers anywhere in the area, they're a part of the conflict and we have no reason to accept it. Especially since all of their "agreements" in Syria were all bullshit. But at this point ending the bloodshed matters most. Maybe we traded them for some positions in North Syria who knows. Would be interesting to be a fly on the wall that's for sure.

Armenians should not trust the turks and azeris. They will slaughter them if they get a chance. They shoud retake what they lost as soon they get the chance. But i dont think they have enough weapons for that.

Retake ? The way it's going they would loose even Armenia. They totally lost that war. A russian peacekeeping mission will save what's keft of NK.

If armenians send their regural units to Nk then they maybe have a chance...but they really need to usee all of their resources. Armenian PM will be most responsible for the defeat in NK. Not the russians. But best frend of George soros

Guys don't have another Su-24 turkey moment, nothing will happen. Sure, maybe down the line, maybe economic pressure, maybe beefing up of Armenia proper, but we're not gonna go to war over this as always.
Depend where it happened. They knew both sides use SAM in NK so if they sent a chopper there it was their fault.

It reminds me of the time the Syrians blew our IL-20 out of the sky because they thought they were targeting Israeli F-16's that hid behind it.
That one got buried quick.

The helicopter was shot down at the border to Nakichevan...far far away from NK. It was shot down and crashed inside Armenia...this could be seen as a direct aggression from Azeris against Armenia/Russia.

Russia's military has thus far been monitoring the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh, warning Azerbaijan not to extend the battle into Armenian sovereign territory. While Moscow has a defense pact with Yerevan, it's thus far sought to not get involved. However this may immediately change things. Russia's Sputnik details further that the Russian gunship had been escorting a convoy which departed from Russia's lone military base on Armenian soil in Gyumri:
"A Russian Mi-24 (NATO reporting name: Hind) military helicopter has crashed on the territory of Armenia near the village of Yeraskh after it was shot from the ground by unknown forces using a man-portable air-defence system (SAM), Russia’s Defence Ministry has stated. The crash was caused by a loss of control after a missile hit the aircraft, the ministry added.
The report notes further: "At the time of the time of the attack, the helicopter was escorting a convoy from Russia’s 102nd military base, which is located in Armenia, as it was moving past Yeraskh, near the border with Azerbaijan's Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic."
