I am sure they will justify this banning because it is obviously a hate crime, or perhaps even Climate Change Terrorism... CCT...

Well that's a big relief. I was beginning to get worried that Germany will some how persuade Russia to open NS2 to avoid the harshness of coming winters. Glad to know that its now no longer possible.

Looks like the end of any Russian gas for Germany for a while, unless they can persuade the Poles to reopen Yamal.

Re: European gas imports
Swedish broadcaster SVT reported that the Swedish National Seismic Network detected two underwater explosions near the Nord Stream pipeline system on Monday.
"One of the explosions had a magnitude of 2.3, and was registered at as many as 30 measuring stations in southern Sweden," SVT said.
Bjorn Lund, a professor in seismology and director of the Swedish National Seismic Network, said these two seismic events were explosions.

Worse than that... the only thing stopping NSII operating at full capacity is German BS over certification and EU rules over allowing 50% free for competitors to use half the capacity.
Germany could very easily have just said it has the go ahead and for Russia to pump gas through at maximum capacity because they care about their citizens and industry and don't want to create their own economic collapse.
Fortunately the Germans are clearly bought and paid for, but I very much agree this is good because now the Russians will have to investigate and the fact that it is in the territorial waters of hostile countries they may never be allowed there to check... meaning they can never use those pipelines again.
To be clear the NSII pipeline was to assure the EU could get some gas no matter what BS the Ukraine pulled like stealing or blocking transit gas.
There will be no NSIII... and Germany continues to arm and support Kiev so who cares... I think waiting to the middle of winter and then cutting all supplies to all countries participating in illegal sanctions against Russia and also arming and funding the terrorist leadership in Kiev that is busy murdering a significant portion of its own population for speaking Russian... is a good solution for Russia.
I am sure the US will be happy to freeze sending all the gas they can spare in the middle of winter when their supply is less than their own demand...
Unless it can be blamed on a miracle earthquake, it looks pretty much like sabotage, just to make sure the Geramans don't weaken but also, perhaps as important for many, it takes out the possibility of gas prices dropping in the near to medium future.
Fully expect the Germans to blame Russia for this "sabotage"... I would not call it sabotage... it is more like the owner of a condemned building that is worth more burned to the ground than in its current state storing fuel and paint and fireworks in there and going away for a weekend leaving their pyromaniac children to party in the building... first ensuring the insurance is fully paid up and with the most comprehensive cover.

Germany is scared shitless about the winter. There was real chance Germans would buckle, make deal for gas through pipelines. This closes that avenue:

25% of the EU’s gas comes from Norwegian subsea gas pipelines and from memory 40% of the UK's.

If they had remains of dignity, they would be kicking the gringos out of the country immediately, but they clearly don't have any. It is a tragedy, to see that happening before our eyes, while most of the Germans don't have a clue where they are heading to...

Don't see a reason to retaliate
Retaliate for what? In my mind the Anglos have shot their own in the foot.
Let it be a matter between them. Russia wasn't currently selling them much through Nord Stream anyway. Nord Stream II was stuck in legal hell and Nord Stream I was missing a turbine.

If they don't care about the truth why should we care about their situation?
This is the EUs battle with the US and Kiev... better for Russia to not get involved... other than making sure everyone is clear about who did this to whom.

Naftogaz is about to be put on Russia's sanctions list in retaliation for their arbitration claims which means that Europe (minus Hungary, Serbia and Turkey) is about to lose their last source of Russian gas just before Winter. Knowing how the US operates, they'll eventually get their pet Ukrainians to blow up the Yamal pipeline and blame Russia for it.
What else is there for Russia to do? They can't save the EU from itself.
Why save them, even if there was such a possibility?
What have the European elites done for Russia lately? Attempt to sanction it, forment a revolution in it, and now send men and materials to kill it's soldiers?
To hell with them. Their vassalage to the US and decreasing options for sourcing gas is their own doing and their own problem

are irrational, mad aggressors will be pumped up. This is leading to WWIII because the NATzO f*cktards will decide that
the "need" to do something about Russia since Russia is such an "existential threat".
This is NATzO wanking itself into a final world war.

Re: European gas imports
--------
Whatever happens in the EU, it is 100% self-inflicted.
where i live in western europe, people are voluntarily shutting down from the gas networks because for people and businesses it becomes unaffordable.
In fact, Energy suppliers again hiked up the prices.
Governments might want to wage this war at all cost.
but if i read the sentiments most people post as comments under pro-ukraine news in my nation's media is that they dont give a shit about Ukraine.
They care if their homes are heated so their kids dont freeze or get sick.
..and the real cold has not even started yet.
Sorry that i say it, but it is about damn time the West is going to feel consequences for it's actions.
i myself?. ill be fine.
If i need some heat, ill just look to good ol' Red that functions like an actual room heater.

Lets say the situation this winter go's full retard for europe, like general winter himself comes down on them.
And they go crawling back to Russia.
Could Russia deploy their floating nuclear stations in order to bring energy to europe?

Economic collapse --> Rise of totalitarian governments controlled by the elites --> Active participation in the war against Russia
Let us see what democratic, freedom loving and human rights vigilant elevated citizens of the EU do when they are kicked into the trenches by some nazi thugs sponsored by the elites...
