Re: "Army-2021" Military Technical Forum
Modular multipurpose short-range homing missile” Kh-MD (-E1 -E2)
Both missiles were displayed in the KTRV pavilion in a mock-up design without making any of their characteristics publicly available.
The presented "interspecific multipurpose short-range homing missile of modular construction" Kh-MD (-E1 -E2) is similar in appearance to the KTRV demonstrated at the previous Military-technical forum "Army-2020" "Thunder" missile "Product 85" ("interspecies small-sized modular aircraft weapon"), externally differing in the movement of the electro-optical homing head from the nose to the fairing under the rocket body (or a variant with a different guidance system is presented).
Regarding "Product 85" it was previously reported that it is an aviation guided missile equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead with increased penetration capacity weighing 30 kg and having various types of guidance (inertial-satellite and various homing heads). The missile is designed to destroy manpower, vulnerable and armored ground and surface equipment of the enemy. The mass of the rocket is 120 kg, the length of the rocket is 2400 mm, the body diameter is 200 mm, and the wingspan is 400 mm.
The presented KTRV exposition on "Army-2021" another missile is designated as a "small-sized multipurpose aircraft weapon" and bears the X-50 index (it is unclear how official it is). It should be noted that earlier the X-50 index had already been repeatedly associated with various projects of aviation weapons, including the promising operational-tactical aviation cruise missile X-SD developed by the KTRV JSC "State Machine-Building Design Bureau" Raduga "them. AY Bereznyak "and small-size rocket, display KTRV on Military Technical Forum" Army 2020 "as located in the Armed developed JSC" Kronstadt "unmanned aerial vehicle" Orion. "
The X-50 missile currently presented at Army-2021 looks like a small-sized subsonic cruise missile with a folding wing and an electro-optical guidance system. Judging by the lack of an air intake, the rocket uses a solid-propellant rocket engine.

Re: "Army-2021" Military Technical Forum
Rostec at the military-technical forum "Army-2021" presented the first Russian ATM with the function of cash recycling, the state corporation reports.
"The ATM manufactured by the Automatika concern in partnership with SAGA Robotics JSC provides for a closed cycle of banknote circulation, which reduces collection costs" – the press service explained. Cash recycling technology is based on the use of banknotes deposited by one customer for distribution to others.
The cash recycling module has been certified and approved by the Bank of Russia for use, Rostec said.
According to Oleg Yevtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec, the demand for ATMs in Russia is about 20 thousand units per year, and the government has set quotas for the purchase of Russian cash terminals and ATMs in the amount of 18% for this year and 20% for 2022-2023.
"Thus, the demand for Russian-made ATMs is estimated at 5 thousand devices per year" – he said.
In addition, Rostec introduced a payment acceptance terminal at Army, which can become an alternative to the usual cash registers. The design, programming and manufacturing of ATMs and terminals is carried out in Russia at JSC "NPP Signal "of the Rostec Automatika Concern.

Re: "Army-2021" Military Technical Forum
The Radio-electronic Technologies Concern presented a new development for unmanned aircraft at the Army-2021 forum – autopilot-sensor combined, the press service of KRET reported.
As part of the onboard equipment, the development performs all the main flight control functions: from launch and ascent to descent and landing. A distinctive feature of the product is its versatility – the equipment is suitable for all types of small unmanned aerial vehicles.
The new development of the Industrial Automation Design Bureau (part of KRET JSC) is suitable for small unmanned aerial vehicles of airplane, helicopter and combined types. Based on information received from external systems and built-in flight parameter sensors, the autopilot issues control signals to the steering units of the unmanned aerial vehicle.
The unit includes a computing module, roll and pitch angle sensors, heading, linear acceleration, angular velocity, static and total pressure sensors, a magnetometer, and a GLONASS/GPS SNA receiver.
"The safety and stability of unmanned aerial vehicles primarily depends on the reliability of the autopilot. The Concern's expertise allowed us to develop a fault-tolerant, versatile product that is suitable for all types of civil and military drones. Today, when the role of UAVs in both the civil and military spheres is constantly growing, we can confidently say that the new development is in demand and the demand for it is guaranteed to be high" – said Nikolay Kolesov, General Director of KRET JSC.

RKhM-9 NBC recon vehicle
I am guessing that the front drivers door is powered... you would need rather long arms to reach down and shut that door otherwise...
Mi-28N, with upgraded rockets Whirlwind-1
WOW... that is a potent upgrade... on the tank and armoured vehicle hunting mission it means this helicopter can carry 16 Krisantema ATGMs plus a further 12 Vikhrs and also have a cannon... that is 28 ATGMs without using guided unguided rocket pods.
Ironically with guided 80mm rockets it could carry 40 guided rockets plus the normal load of 16 ATGMs, but Vikhrs carry more punch and can reach much greater ranges with better armour penetration.
So 28 ATGMs for use against heavy vehicles and then four 80mm rocket pods with potentially 80 guided 80mm rockets to clean up the light support vehicles like trucks etc etc... plus air burst 30mm cannon shells...
Nice.
Modular multipurpose short-range homing missile” Kh-MD (-E1 -E2)
Interesting... the round nose suggests active or passive radar but with a subsonic missile like the Kh-35, and the IIR port suggests multi target options for a range of threats... the Kh-50 looks interesting too... suspect at some stage an air intake will appear on that as it makes more sense than being rocket powered for such a weapon.
PZM-2 earthmoving machine on the KAMAZ chassis
A trench digger... any infantry man will think this vehicle is worth its weight in gold...
Multi-purpose armored floating vehicle
Looks like a good BRDM-2 replacement but with normal side and rear doors... which is a bonus.
The gun on it looks to be a new design... wonder if this is another of those RWS with the new machine gun types?
Automatika presented the first budget computer based on the Elbrus-2S3 processor.
ORAC!!!!

So the project 11711 is the upgraded Ivan Gren ship with the two superstructures shifted together as one, and it is going to be called the Kaiman class?
That should be good.

Re: "Army-2021" Military Technical Forum
Representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry signed on August 24 at the Army-2021 military-technical forum in the Moscow region a number of contracts for the supply of weapons - from hypersonic missiles to attack drones and combat robots.
According to Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko, the military has signed more than 40 contracts totaling over 500 billion rubles. This is noticeably more modest than a year ago, when the ministry ordered weapons for 1.16 trillion rubles, but following the implementation of all agreements, the armed forces will replenish more than 1.3 thousand pieces of equipment.
TASS has compiled the main thing that the Russian military will receive in the coming years.
Robots and drones
Heavy assault robotic complex "Shturm" from the Ural Design Bureau of Transport Engineering (part of Uralvagonzavod), based, according to open sources, on the platform of the T-72 tank. While we are talking about a prototype.
Complexes "Uran-14", designed to fight fires. This is a continuation of the line of robots "Uran-6" and "Uran-9".
A complex with middle-class strike drones "Inokhodets-RU" - vehicles of this type were tested during the hostilities in Syria, as well as reconnaissance vehicles "Forpost-R".
Unmanned helicopters "Platform" and "Termit".
Hypersonic and aviation
New batches of hypersonic missiles "Dagger" (for the Russian Aerospace Forces) and "Zircon" (for the Navy). In addition, the company ordered the modernization of the MiG-31K aircraft, which are carriers of the "Dagger", and the modernization of the next batch of MiG-31 interceptors to the level of the MiG-31BM.
30 Ka-52M attack helicopters - an upgraded version of the Ka-52 Alligator. The novelty differs from the base vehicle in a radar system with an active phased antenna array and weapons, unified with the other newest attack helicopter Mi-28NM. Deliveries are expected in 2022-2023.
Upgraded strategic bombers Tu-95MSM. The combat vehicles will be equipped with new control and radar systems, flight and navigation equipment and a communications complex. How many aircraft will be upgraded is not specified.
Eight NK-32 engines of the second series for Tu-160M strategic bombers until 2024. This is enough to equip two cars.
Armored vehicles and machine guns
Self-propelled artillery mounts "Coalition-SV" with a 152 mm cannon on the platform of the T-90 tank. This technique is designed to destroy ground targets at a distance of up to 70 km.
Combat vehicles of the TOS-2 "Tosochka" heavy flamethrower system presented at the Victory Day parade in Moscow in 2020.
Tanks T-90M "Breakthrough", which are the latest modification of the T-90, including a new turret and a more powerful engine. Some of the vehicles already in service will be upgraded to the T-90M level.
Anti-aircraft guided missiles 9M333, which are equipped with the Strela-10 complexes. They were presented by the Kalashnikov concern at the Army-2020 forum.
AK-12 5.45 mm assault rifles, first demonstrated at the Victory Day parade in 2019. Earlier, "Kalashnikov" announced plans in 2019-2021 to supply the military with 112.5 thousand of these machines.
Russian fleet
Medium reconnaissance ships from the Zelenodolsk plant named after A. M. Gorky and another base minesweeper of Project 12700 "Alexandrite" from the Sredne-Nevsky shipyard.
On Monday, four submarines began to be built for the Russian Navy at once: two strategic nuclear submarines of project 955A Borey-A, Dmitry Donskoy and Prince Potemkin, and two diesel-electric project 636.3 Varshavyanka, Mozhaisk and Yakutsk. In addition, corvettes of projects 20380 and 20385 "Grozny" and "Buyny" were laid at the Amur shipyard.
In addition to the hypersonic "Zircons", the Russian fleet will receive another batch of subsonic cruise missiles "Caliber", which were successfully used during the operation in Syria.
