Roselektronika Holding of Rostec State Corporation presented a new robotic fire extinguishing system with machine learning technology. The high efficiency of the device with its compact dimensions allows it to be used on ships, drilling platforms and any other industrial facilities. The system was demonstrated at the Army-2021 International Military-Technical Forum.
The complex consists of a stationary fire robot, a explosion-proof camera and a power supply unit. The total weight of the device is 18 kg. When a flame is detected, the complex transmits the coordinates of the burning center to the control system, which automatically directs the gun carriage barrel (water cannon) to the fire. At the same time, the incident log is automatically kept, and all videos from the camera are saved to the archive.
"A fire at an industrial facility is always associated with a high level of risk. Prevention of man-made accidents requires the most reliable and efficient solutions. The robotic fire complex developed by us allows you to automatically detect, recognize and respond to an emergency situation at an early stage. Almaz-Antey unveils unmanned modular electric platform.
At the seventh International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2021" Almaz-Antey Concern is demonstrating a full-scale model of a new unmanned modular electric platform for the first time.
According to the Almaz-Antey Concern, the presented modular electric platform for autonomous vehicles is "100 % domestic product" with localization of production at the Concern's enterprises up to 74 %. The equipment was created by JSC "North-West regional Center of the "Almaz-Antey" Concern - Obukhov Plant" (St. Petersburg).
Today, various options for using the modular platform are being considered: from "unmanned logistics corridors" and backup power supply systems to autonomous terrain monitoring, border and perimeter protection.
"When we started working on this project as part of diversification, we were guided by global trends in the development of environmentally friendly transport and the transition to advanced production technologies" – Jan Novikov, General Director of Almaz-Antey, said –
"Economic calculations have shown that our modular electric platform can be used to produce various vehicles for a wide range of purposes."
Being the basis of the model range of electric vehicles, the universal self-propelled electric platform is created on the modular principle. The developers plan to use it for building vehicles with different types of bodies, different dimensions and load capacities (up to 700 kg) using batteries with a capacity of up to 90 kW/h, as well as the possibility of installing electric motors on each wheel axle. At the same time, the platform configuration also allows the use of combined power plants, for example, a gas-electric layout, which makes it possible to significantly increase the power reserve.
The platform is equipped with a separate electric all-wheel drive system with the possibility of installing electric motors with a total power of up to 320 kW, has a low center of gravity and almost 50-50 load distribution on the axles. The temperature control system guarantees battery operation in the temperature range from -25 °C to 35 °C.
