Losses I go following the Russian army reports. A good rule of thumb is to assume 10 casualties between dead and wounded for every tank, artillery piece or vehicle reported destroyed, so 200 units of materiel and 2.000 losses for the Ukrop side in two days sounds reasonable in view of the fighting reported, thank God its not yet the meat grinder that the battles of 2014-2015 were the daily casualty rate was even higher with the futile frontal attacks on entrenched positions and when the cauldrons (pockets) were destroyed.
I do my best in my blog, if you want to contribute some news source that I can add to my resources let me know!

Its more of fast-paced stream propaganda of our, mine, side. I prefer to read more sterile articles at bmpd.livejournal.com at the beginning and the end of the each day, as far as LJ concerned.

So. A twatter account of supposed Igor Girkin (aka Strelkov) - a Russian nationalist, formerly separatist commander, "retired" when he got the idea he'll get retired for realz like Mogovoy, Motorolla and Givi were later. Spewing clearly pro-Ukrainian tweeps. Sometimes IN Ukrainian.Orlan wrote:https://twitter.com/GirkinGirkin/status/1497590132332974085?t=fdO2etW7ajAN-xamMd5mew&s=19

It's time to take the gloves off guys this is dangerous now
Russia cannot afford to focus on Ukraine, the west is escalating dangerously, those missiles in Poland and Romania are extremely threatening in these circumstances
Ukraine needs to be ended so the main war effort can be directed towards europe

Major development tonight on the southern front:
Russian forces are rumored to have launched a massive armored spearhead: bypassing coastal cities like #Berdiansk in attempt to surround #Mariupol and complete land bridge with occupied #Crimea.

There are apparently 20,000+ US citizens, abandoned by the US to their fate, still in Ukraine and private chartered planes (shades of Afghanistan) are being deployed to get them out. Not sure which airfield. The TV cameras are sure to be there.
