It was kind of obvious that Poland wants to regain Lvov since the day they suggested to send an armed Nato force into Ukraine. Maybe these Polish annexation dreams will be a wake-up call for Ukrainians to understand that they are only played by their Nato "friends". well from the Russian perspective it might be advantageous.  Lvov and western orc land doesn't have to be managed and money pumped in coming years. And Remaining parts can happily be split into small republics and join Russia-Belorussia USSR2?

And if they think daddy US will send any of their own troops in significant numbers. They are sorely mistaken.
The US plan in WW2 was always to hold the Warsaw Pact troops in place and nuke them.
If they did send the bulk of their possible army into Europe it would have been after the place was already nuked to hell.
Not before. Assuming they still had a nation to send troops from.

They don't have the ressources to have all their army in europe. Supply lines would be unsustainable and local populations would be against such war US/russia fought on their soil.

They also can't risk loosing their forces when you have China buying as much weapons as European armies have every 10 years.

Seems like you are jumping to conclusions. I cant figure out how legit that blogpost was but it reeks of demoralization. Russia is well aware that Ukrainian fighters are essentially guided and given Intel by the west, and that there is a large portion of foreign fighters. I would not assume Russians would overestimate their abilities or underestimate those of their enemies. Until further info can he gleaned it is best to view all accounts with a skeptical eye.

Your enemy sits 50 - 100 metres away in the 2nd floor of a 5 story building. With an RPG you can shoot through the windows and kill them. An air or artillery strike would damage or even destroy the whole building, killing civilians hiding somewhere inside or traping them in the cellar.
