Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian delegation, David Arakhamia, announced the possibility of resuming negotiations . "The chief negotiator from Ukraine considers it possible to resume negotiations with Russia from the end of August. It is possible and so. The question is whether they will talk about what and with whom," Medvedev wrote on Saturday in his Telegram channel .

The politician also stressed that Ukraine will not accept "the loss of territory, it is legally impossible." At the same time, he added that it is possible to "consider a political agreement" similar to the one proposed in Istanbul.

This is nothing new. They've been arresting people that go to fight in foreign countries for a while now. In Ukraine from the beginning in 2014, if they could prove it.

As noted so often. This ship needs TOR. The ship that gets at the end of the construction with PanzirM is not sufficiently protected. The war clearly shows this. No protection without a TOR.

They are developing a modular deck mounted TOR system but it would likely require AESA radar arrays to work which would be expensive for what are just patrol boats.

Once they have them operational they won't need to remove anything from existing vessels, the launch bins will just sit on the deck around the place....

I personally hope they add the laser defence systems for shooting down enemy drones out to 5km because they could probably dazzle optically guided targets out to 10 times that range...

Odds are pretty good that they would use Brimstone against shipping because they don't have any, so any ship would do for a target...

TOR would easily take care of Brimstone, but they are still testing it.

BTW the war shows nothing of the sort... this ship under tow has nothing to do with the conflict.... read the posts above.

The only ships they have damaged appear to be a cargo landing ship with a Tochka missile and a Serna landing ship and a few tiny attack boats... the Americans would call Boghammers.

How will you fight Battle of Jutland without massive main gun?

When this conflict is over, as a patrol ship the 76mm gun is going to be vastly more useful than any SAM or laser.

This war might not be over till sometime next year, but these boats will spend most of their operational service in peace time when a gun will be rather more useful.

New developments in shell designs will only make it more useful over time.

No space to fit Tor really and besides the two Gibka launchers and the twin barrel AK-630M provides significant protection for such a small ship.
Btw - it appears that this particular ship served in Syrian waters for a long time hence the rusty appearance. It is now on it's way to St. Petersburg for a paint job and will participate in the Navy Day parade.

I doubt t72 and t90 are exhausted , simply because most of the Russian forces were withdrawn from the battlefield

Bmp 1 and t62 is for the militia to wrap up their business in the LDNR with Russian fire support

But we have not seen the MAXAR pictures from before February 24 of the so called Russian buildup since then

Maybe they do not want to show how terrifying the buildup really is and what it looks like

Russian MoD  releases unreasonably little information, so it will give space to a lot of speculation.
Chinese radios are everywhere and not only in LDPR militias, but also among Russian servicemen. And those financing drives are there for a reason. Problem has been pointed already multiple times by other correspondents and insiders. I don't understand why LDPR militias don't get new helmets and protection wests from Russians. You can still see people with  SSh-60 and 68 in area of active combats.

I am astonished at that as well. Basic protection like that is unlikely to be in short supply in the Russian Army and simplistically is a very low cost force multiplier.

They must be supplying the LDPR with ammo/munitions etc so the logistics are in place.

At present, eight complexes of six aircraft each have been handed over to the Russian army

It was also noted that 12 more complexes will be delivered in the next month, which will take up service in the sky above Donbass and Kherson.

Excuse my ignorance but who is this guy? Is it an "expert" getting the same internet "insider" knowledge as us, or has he actually been in the thick of it? If he has seen it or heard first hand reliable reports from colleagues then sometimes what a military needs is scathing remarks. That said in that position you have to be careful talking in public as this is the thickest propaganda battle I've ever witnessed. But still sometimes fiery remarks are what is needed. If the guy is a random assholr then disregard previous remarks.

And yeah even patrol boats need at least pantsir or be under umbrella of serious air defense/fighter patrols.
