Obviously this is botched crossing in Belogorovka. It was known feom before that part of the equipment was Ukrainian. But, mostly Russian.

Nothing is known about the incident. The mostly Russian claim is pulled from the anus of internet "experts". The only image
analysis I have seen points to a lot of ancient BMPs that could have been in the LDNR forces but not in use by Russian forces.

Sure, there was likely an Ukr artillery attack but Russia has the ability (and air dominance) to suppress such attacks. But
internet "experts" claim that Russians were just throwing their men and equipment away like the Ukrainian side.

Re western media and political circles, no, that's a lost cause. While the conflict is hot, at least. We might see some stuff decades from now when they go "oh, our bad", similar to what happened when Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya etc were overwith. Years later the "oopsie" stuff became kosher to publish.

It is not allowed to happen while it still could matter for the people directly affected by it, though.

If the Russian side had an issue with mistreatment of POWs, then it would have been a problem since March. This
case looks like a concocted event. Like all those barrel bomb chemical attacks in Syria that occurred every few months
and served no purpose other than to stoke anti-Assad propaganda.

The "retaliation" is to an event concocted to give an "excuse" for it. Russia just needs to keep blowing these vermin
up by the hundred. No amount of atrocities will save them.

Rumours and I stress the word rumours, are flying around that Ukrainian troops are highly disgruntled and are planning on surrendering in Donbass to end the war they plan to do this within the next 3-4 weeks.

Although rumours I find it difficult to believe if your planning on surrendering why wait 3-4 weeks?


As for gepard and shilka comments. Shilka isn't a bad system and has at least enjoyed upgrades over the years, updated electronics, radar etc, and the addition of MANPADS or strela -10 missiles, a cheap missile/gun system that's also a beast at ground fire support.

It might take time for them to identify friends from foes and gather sufficient allies to safely take down the nationalist blocker units that have been murdering Ukie troops since the first days of the op. The Kiev regime (and its NATO handlers) has made it as difficult as posible for their troops to put down their weapons without getting a summary field execution for their troubles...
