    About the two fallen "Polaks":

    Teifel = German surname

    Szeremeta  = Ukrainian surname (Sheremeta)

    What Poles?

Many Aussiedler still live in Poland as vast areas were parts of Prussia. They are Polish citizens, that's all that matters.

Ffs they are using tires as a protection for their strategic bombers. What a bunch of dumb assholes.

Not protection you dummy, just to denote parking spaces. A lot easier to see for everyone than painted lines

Only in S-band but Russians have many of them includin the A-50's. It assumes no Absorbers or treatment, The drone is able to pull 0.38 sqm. That's a good value i think. With treatment it can perhaps reach 0.1 sqm and make Russian radar work harder.

If they do observed the drone tho, i wonder why no fighter aircraft dispatched to engage or Visually acquire them.

Why can't russian OTH radars detect them then? Where is Voronizh, wheres nebo, wheres konteyner? Why don't the russians have radars that can easily detect low flying low RCS cruise missiles? Do you think russian air defence would be able to detect a massive tomahawk strike from away?

A lot of modern radar works in conjunction with neural networks and AI but you still have a human element. Each time something breaks thru the Russians learn from it. Air defense is one of the hardest skillsets in modern military.

The other possibility is it is not done by drones but rather saboteurs. and for some reason the MoD tells it's drone attack.

In regards of Drone.. well why nobody ask how many they launched ? The VKS may lack in doing patrols but in order to increase the odds of succsesfull attacks, Ukrainian forces may launch multiple drones, yet there dont seem to be massive damage in Engels, while in Dyagilevo the damage was in the Tu-22M3's.

This is simple and I will explain it to you.
Russia should use low intensity nuclear weapons and end the war. Since there are many cowardly Europeans in the forum, they are afraid to assume that consequence. It's the only way, assume it. And it is a direct message to the West.

If Russia loses the war with a shitty and inferior country like Ukraine, not only its prestige is in danger, but also the unity of the Federation, since it will not be tolerated by many sectors.

Russia is not going to lose any war in Ukraine. It is unclear if the whole of Ukraine will be rolled over, but the current south and east
are not going to be surrendered or sold out. The whole of the "success" of the Kiev regime is its human wave tactics with local
10 to 1 advantages where Russia decided not to expend its resources over worthless real estate from a military perspective. These
human waves are not going to bring the Kiev regime long term victory, they will burn it out faster. NATzO is going to have to step in
sometime this winter to prevent the Kiev regime bubble from bursting. But NATzO is unable to step in. It can only feed its soldiers
as mercenary proxies which only works as long as Russia does not actively destroy the logistics chains out of Poland.

The coming winter campaign will be a real game changer because the holding pattern we have seen for months resulting from the limited
Russian deployment will no longer be the case. I am not happy with the 380,000 additional troops but a certain retired US general is talking
about 700,000 total Russian forces in Ukraine which may be more realistic. The meat spewed out by the Kiev regime will not work against
such a Russian force whatsoever. This meat is not properly trained and especially not properly armed. Surovikin's statements about grinding
down the Ukr "army" (more like rag tag bands at this stage) cannot be an indefinite activity. It does not make sense to keep grinding down
what is no longer there. What is the point of deploying the additional 380,000 (or higher) troops? Such a force imbalance must result in
a rapid advance of the front at some stage (this winter).

You will notice how some members will pop their heads in and spam this thread if something happened that was rather miniscule but will push a narrative that Russia is losing.

Yeah, 2 Tu-22m3's were damaged. Oh no. How will Russia keep the 20% of Ukraine it has and more territory its gaining now?

There are indeed members that need to be banned.

No-one intends to lose the war with the Ukraine, and Russia is not losing it as of current time

In fact time only plays more to its favor. Russia's economy has picked up, and support for the war has increased as the West has made clear its objectives to destroy the country. With time, Russia will only disassociate more from Western markets and expand trade ties to the rest of the world. That's good for Russia, good for the rest of the world.

So I do have to wonder what the urgency is that you refer to, or that of some other 'voices from the global south' that urge an end to the war as quickly as possible. The only way for the war to end quickly is for the Ukrainians to return to negotiations and agree to the conditions that Russia sets.
Otherwise the war will go on for a while. It's to be expected that NATO forces will unofficially enter the war sooner or later too. All the more reason for Russia to dig in and prioritize the long-life and good health of its manpower. What's the 'danger' that you are referring to?

"They keep coming so the Russians can just keep shooting them as they are..."

Garry, Vietnam proved that that's a terrible way to wage war.

It is the best way to eliminate the rotten military core of the country... which was absent in Vietnam... the US tells the world they saved the world from communism in Vietnam, but Vietnam was about the end of ending colonialism there... first the French and then the Japs and then the French again and then a US coalition trying to control the country... to which the country rebelled.

This tactic can continue for a while because it is cost effective in terms of resources and men.

Great. That changes absolutely nothing regarding how terrible of a strategy that is to winning a war.

Terrible for Ukrainian civilians being drafted, not terrible for Russia at the moment.

Maybe Engels was hit by that 1000km suicide drone Ukraine recently unveiled.

A couple of pin prick attacks for which the response is likely to make Ukrainians suffer even more...

Yeah geran style drone swarm attacks against Russia would be rather humiliating.

There is that word humiliating again, this is not Russia running away from Kabul leaving allies to the wolves... Kiev using western made drones to try to attack Russia is to be expected, and the consequences should be expected too... I rather think it is time to start targeting things they have not attacked just yet...

The screening of "refugees" hasn't been up to scratch, so to speak, and Russia's rather complacent when it comes to base security sometimes. Seems like it just never occured to them that Ukrainians would even attempt such things, since they appear so foolhardy.

The Russian response is going to make any achievements look relatively pointless... but they are that stupid...

Eh? What you describe is the very same complacency I mentioned.

Hahahaha... yes, complacency... because Kievs forces are complete morons and have not had planning and support from HATO for this operation... some MiG-29 took off from Kiev and flew into Russian airspace and casually bombed two airfields inside Russia and then presumably flew back unmolested while the Russian guards sat smoking and drinking vodka presumably.

The same sort of complacency the US displayed in 11/9, or that chechen refugee that the US took in that eventually bombed one of their marathons...

They will go further, you can't relax.

If they were relaxed then all of the people caught would not have been caught and there would be dozens of attacks every day by terrorists.

The first two (?) attacks shouldn't even have succeeded had they realized the gravity of the situation. They were rather complacent, thinking that "no way they'd attempt that"... But at least they got everything in order before major damage happened.

Their problem was that they didn't have an expert like you there to tell them exactly what those terrorists were going to do...

Likewise, there shouldn't even be the possibility of an attack on strategically important Engels AFB at this stage. Doesn't matter if it's by a sabotage team working locally or by some new long-range drone (that I still have't seen any evidence for).

Yeah, of course and how humiliating for the US for the Pentagram to be hit by a hijacked airliner... how complacent were they...

And of course, this could be the case too. Again, did anyone provide any indication of Ukrainian involvement yet? Let alone long-range drones (600km+)?

How complacent of you to not find out the facts before making accusations?

Some changes to the electronics could solve this. Still it hits in 90 of 100 cases. Even some of the close misses resulted in damage to the target.

Not to mention discolouration of underwear, and a distinct aroma pervading the vehicles after the events...

    Western plans hitting reality again.

It was selling at about $64 per barrel just recently, but now $79... nice.

Of that like half goes to Europe, the other half to Asia.

Part of the price cap includes bans on shipping Russian oil to the EU... only piped oil to Hungary and other countries is exempt for a time period.

@Belisarius... the periodic table of elements...

I think they should equip Lancet drones with a small secondary incendiary warhead to at least give some probability that targets catch fire.
We don't know about the damage, but with incendiary filler the S-300 wouldn't be so lucky.

A HEAT warhead penetrating the side of one S-300 would burn the entire vehicle... extra weight would slow it down and reduce its speed and range, and not improve the chances of a hit... that attack might have been to slow down the vehicles while artillery gets zeroed in to fire at them for all we know... note the use of the drone spotting the target and watching the attack... the higher flying drones would see the miss allowing follow up attacks to be actioned.

The Brent price drop proves that the "market" is rigged. Russia needs to play hardball and deliberately divert its exports away from the NATzO fraud
exchanges. The demand is not created by NATzO fraudsters.

The west has set a deadline but has not actually enforced anything yet... lets see how that works out for them first...

This is not about Russia selling oil, this is about the wests monopoly on oil transport and shipping insurance and sales bookings being broken with alternatives being created around the world to do the same job, probably better.

The strike on the airfield in Engels was carried out by the Soviet Tu-141 Strizh UAV, which freely overcame almost 650 km over the territory of the Russian Federation.
Such a drone should not be a problem for Russian air defense... It's not a small plastic drone, etc. It's huge. The Russian defense is doing a huge job, but they should shoot it down.

The same drone that penetrated over 500km of HATO airspace including crossing several borders without being noticed too...

    Shot from the other side.

At least it is not a Tu-22M3M... as the visible gun proves.

Lucky thing is that X-22 under the wing didn't catch fire.

Would not be fuelled up until just before takeoff...

TASS blames MAXAR for supplying Ukraine with intel about the airbase that was hit last night.

That might be a good result of these attacks... start to target civilian assets being used by the west to find targets in the Ukraine.... this could get interesting...

Ffs they are using tires as a protection for their strategic bombers. What a bunch of dumb assholes.

If it is stupid but it works then it is not stupid... storing tires where they can serve double duty as ballistic protection is actually a good idea.

Restocking Western ammunition after arming Ukraine will take years -producer

It will also be enormously profitable.... Twisted Evil

The strizth , supposedly has no explosive warhead , only cameras . Yet large explosion reported in two different locations . Too large to be retrofitted small warhead of 50 - 100 kg . More like 250 - 500 kg warhead of cruise missile

It can carry a bomb, which it also did when it entered HATO airspace earlier in the war...

Note the small explosions on the ground beyond the Gepard after the missile was hit. Any idea what they are?

Looks like part of the cruise missile exploding when hitting the ground... perhaps fuel tanks and engine parts... those 35mm shells probably broke the cruise missile apart... the small explosions happen about the same time the main part of the missile hits the ground, so all parts hitting the ground at the same time seems to suggest it was parts of the missile.

Note I think those explosions were on the tree line and well away from the Gepard.

Interesting the video cuts out while the guy in the fore ground is opening fire on what sounds like a drone... wonder if a video is going to appear of a Gepard getting whacked by a Russian drone sometime soon?

Why can't russian OTH radars detect them then? Where is Voronizh, wheres nebo, wheres konteyner? Why don't the russians have radars that can easily detect low flying low RCS cruise missiles? Do you think russian air defence would be able to detect a massive tomahawk strike from away?

Because the Orcs are not idiots and didn't send dozens of drones... they probably sent one to each target and flew it in a way that made it look non threatening, perhaps flying with other air traffic, maybe even using a civilian airliner transponder signal so as not to attract attention.

The U.S. Army is planning a ‘dramatic’ six-fold artillery shell production boost

I am sure they will do it in the most cost effective way to save as much money as possible.... NOT.

No-one intends to lose the war with the Ukraine, and Russia is not losing it as of current time

Orcs are getting minced in counter attacks they mount with a tank and a few BMPs and civilian SUVs which get pushed back to their starting points rather quickly minus most of the vehicles and often less than half of the men they attacked with, losing three men is regrettable, but it is hardly losing the war as you point out FP...

These actions by the Orcs will lead to an escalation that they will suffer even more from than if they had done nothing at all... I suspect they want to goad Russia into being as barbaric as them, but the Russian military and Putin are not that stupid or barbaric in nature... they want to in the war in a way that they can also win the peace afterwards.

They will likely have dozens of different plans moving forward and the Orcs are trying to push them into going for the quicker plans, because they know they can't win, but they will be having to answer to their own people... if you think the few paid trolls here bleating about incompetence is bad, imagine what it is like for the other side for those who know what is actually happening... the west is talking about running out of military aid... is that an accident... is this provocation to bolster western support even further, or are they hoping the Russian response to their attacks is what motivates the west to increase support.

From a Russian perspective the good news is that there is really nothing the west can provide that will enable Kiev to win this conflict, and even better Kievs chances of surviving this conflict really revolve around rapid surrender and capitulation and Zelensky has already painted himself in a corner in that regard... he wants Russia to withdraw from Russian territory and hand it over to Kiev, which is illegal under Russias current constitution, and for Putin to step down... which is not going to happen either.

In the mean time skinheads from eastern europe are now constituting a larger fraction of the mincemeat being ground up... I doubt it improves the flavour but the removal from the gene pool is always a good thing.

Even here on this forum, we have multiple boot accounts activated to spoil the minds.
The issue with the west is that while being raised in "meta" environment, with saturated and censored content, they don't get a point of a different opinion any longer.
That is why the masters of the puppets are so afraid of creation of alternative opinion platforms.
This is why Russia Today was targeted and taken down - they need a medial monopoly while claiming the other.
I remember the times of my childhood, and family assemblies, where members fighting with different political opinions were just a standard issue.
    "fighting" with words, obviously.
Nobody felt offended, it was just a matter of individual rights&opinions.
Uncle X, Y and Z had a difference - that was perfectly fine.
Today, people already forgot how to talk to each other. To understand that another person can have totally different conclusions on a matter.
Families are getting involved in a civil war.
    But that was a goal.
To infect people with hate and fear.
This goal is being achieved by diverting the people against each other. Radicalization of their thoughts.
80% of fuckin' twitter accounts are boots, imagine that.
You don't hear the peoples voice anymore, just a targeted campaign made to spoil your mind.
It is a shitshow. Nothing more.
To make you get off course.
To create an impression, that it is you who is a kind of species while having some other agenda that the rest of a herd.
    Sheep's herd.
And we talk about the reality, where twitter is really a "place" where some people do "live" in! For god's sake, people are committing suicide for banning on Facebook!! Shocked Shocked

Some were quick to criticize Russia, however..
Currently, the most powerful "weapon" systems are actually satellites, and this conflict proved it.
The conflict would have ended a long time ago if it were not for satellites - that is a fact.
I wrote a long time ago that I am not a fan of aviation - not at all.
The media made the majority of the world's population swear and believe in the power of aviation, something similar to the "Bismarck" or "Yamato" in World War II.
As I wrote that even the dominance of the West cannot and will not be eternal, I consider the same for aviation. Nothing is eternal and everything is changeable, so many things we are used to become quite porous and worn out.
Aviation is too expensive and too vulnerable.
The story of stealth is idiocy and a myth.
3 days ago Brian Berletic said that Israel uses its F-35I during airstrikes on Syria exclusively from the territory of Israel. And then what is the purpose of that overpriced plane ?

If the plane flies at a high altitude, it will be very easily blown up by a long-range anti-aircraft system, while at a low altitude, its survival rate will be at the same level or slightly higher than a cruise missile.
I think that it is far more beneficial to produce a few dozen cruise missiles and echeloned air defense for the price of one aircraft. It turns out that the most powerful weapons systems currently are satellites, even though they are not weapon systems.
Air defense has its flaws, aviation has even more and at a much higher price. One motto is still valid and that is that artillery is the "queen of firepower".
More missiles and more guns, and it's all settled..except for the main problem, the satellites.

We are discussing a pair of short trouser wearing boys jerking about any given Wunderwaffe concept.
You can't avoid that, assholes, imbeciles, and people with no clue but big mouths are common to every country, society, age&religion.
But again, it is not their fault - they are being fed with that shit, all way down.
    24/7/365.
    News gets tabloid.
Imagine that a while ago, calling a title "tabloid" was an offence.
Now, tell me the difference between the tabloid and the most common tiltes out there.
Oh shit, those are the tabloids that are the most common? really? gee!  Shocked
When the whole "bayraktar" saga started a few years ago, everyone who had any clue was advocating that it is a poor men's choice against low advanced opponents. And would be useless in a big conflict involving a mature AD system.
And the same can be applied to any sensational, sellf-proclaimed Wunderwaffe we saw multiple times as a part of propaganda spin.
Yet the band of jerks was yapping another, mostly on twitter or facebook.
An army of short-handed incels, who can't reach their own dicks, that's all they are.
But in today's crazy times, they can be a fuckin' sofa generals not having an airsoft pistol in their hands even once.
One can be a claimed Napoleon without knowing the era when the one lived.
And that is the clue of the entire story.
If people who have none are starting to discuss a complicated environment, the effect is getting ridiculous if watched from the side by someone who has some wider perspective.
I would say that it is one of the achievements here, that the most common comment on the ejaculations of our sofa expertsis not getting involved in a dick measure contest with them, but just laughing them all way down.

No, you have no bloody idea about the matters. You lack the clue, education, access to data, methodological knowledge about the reality of an armed forces, so STFU and watch the show.

Russkie should, they must, otherwise it is humiliation, and I - the reincarnation of Alexander of Macedon - will decide that they don't know how to carry a warfare!

Holly cow, take your pills you bloody moron, just take it - you can take all of them at once, the loss for humanity will be unrecognizable.

Oh bro, the purpose is perfectly clear and is doing just fine!
It was transferring huge budget allocations up to the open mouth of Murican MIC.
It worked perfectly if we consider the real goals! Laughing Laughing

80% of fuckin' twitter accounts are boots, imagine that.

The irony is that you would reject a movie streaming service that was 80% adverts... even if it was free...

Probably the same one guy running all of the Telegram accounts that limb is subscribed to

This guy started doing this before the conflict... how many would they have recruited since, and the threats he got when he said he didn't want to do it any more suggests they have not got a lot of volunteers...

Tanks with rotating turrets are having them blown - off regularly , while the rest of the Tank remains intact or functional  , well apart from the tracks that are another weak point . Too late to re-design , like the old anti-Tank vehicles that use tracks to rotate guns . Tracks once rotated the vehicle , could be retracted inside Hull of vehicle , only it is an engineering problem !

Regards Russian AD , locating these drones hitting targets deep inside Russia . I am not AD expert , but imagine that if Russia grounded all aircraft and missiles sporadically and temporarily , from time to time , then clutter will be zero and Radar could pick up these drones , and learn more about them , to fine - tune the electrics to detect them ? I said the same thing , when I thought NATO may launch missiles from PG region , that grounding all air traffic over Iran and Belorussia would help detection ?
