I have always used 3 digits as literally that i.e. up to 999 in numerals.

1000 is 3 zeros, 10,000 4 zeros etc. More often now, although technically wrong (as a binary k is 1024), 1k, 10k etc.

The Ukranian army was armed and trained by NATO to take back the Donbas - they tried to form a NATO force with modern SOF warfare. Russia just switched the game and forced them to fight a classical WW2 style high ammo game.

West run out of ammo.
And lost.

Interviews with soldiers told us:

They trained us to take it over with special forces tactics - now we sit in a trench and wait till the Russian wipe us out with artillery like in a bad WW2 or even WW1 movie.
When we fire one shell - they fire 8 or ten.
West was not prepared for that.
No high level ammo production.
No counter artillery in a right capacity.
Modern drones had no chance against RF AD.

And by waging a static defense game - because of lost mobility - the game was set. The only successful actions were in the beginning - when AFU could play the game their way. Small units attack RF thin lines of supply and communication.

And then the take back of Kharkov. Well organised small highly trained units did what they have learned - and won a battle.

The war became static since then - and Russia was even forced to shorten the lines. They retreated - in a very professional way out of northern Kherson. Russia did what it could best - retreating when a fight is too costly. And they did that very very well.

Then the war switched to a war of attrition. And also that in favor of Russia.

But now the face of war will change again.

And soon you will see the results.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of the village of Lobkove in the Zaporozhye region, in the area of Kamianske (also Zaporozhye region) a hangar with equipment was destroyed, Ukrainian losses per day in this direction amounted to 90 people

I guess the russian MOD is toying with the idea I was repeating for the last 8 months: slow grinding assault on the zaporozhie front. I really fucking hope its not some bullshit failure like Bolshaya Novosyolka or ultralimited tactical offensive like Pavlovka.

NATO used te same tactic as Daesh in that area, sending lightly armed guys in SUVs
towards towns.

Marinka would make the most sense, they're already there in the high rises, and they're pressuring Ukros from Zaporozhye front

Taking Marinka means you get behind Gulyaipolye and the whole sector leading to Dnepro is then in operational encirclement

Liveuamaps is western source, and they are updating the marinka map

So imo this is close to falling soon and it would make more sense than charging Avdeyevka or Pervomaisk

Saw an interesting tweet within the last couple of days but cannot locate now however the gist is:

First the Russian demilitarized the Ukrainian FSU military equipment.

Next they demilitarized all the FSU military equipment that NATO had or could buy from 3rd parties for the Ukrainians.

Now they starting to demilitarize all of NATO's reserve equipment.

Then it will have to be NATO operational equipment.
