SIMFEROPOL, June 10-RIA Novosti. Residents of the Zaporozhye region go to the front as volunteers, trying to bring the liberation of their region from Ukrainian troops closer, the head of the Zaporozhye public movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov told RIA Novosti.
"Residents of the Zaporozhye region en masse go to the front as volunteers, trying to bring the liberation of their region from the Ukrainian invaders closer," Rogov said.

So, according to him, today about seven thousand Zaporozhye volunteers are already fighting in the Russian army, Rosgvardiya, Wagner group, Sudoplatov battalion and other military units.
Zaporozhye region became a subject of the Russian Federation following the results of a referendum held in September 2022, the results of which Kiev does not recognize and continues to shell the territory. Today, more than 70% of the Zaporozhye region is under Russian control, the former regional center of the region, the city of Zaporozhye, remains under the control of Ukrainian troops, and since March 2023, Melitopol has temporarily become the administrative center of the region.

They made no significant progress. But they showed that they are willing to go all out. They have many more bodies and equipment to throw at so it’s best bet to be cautious.

Actually, Bradleys look to be quite survivable vehicles for infantry at least, yet here we are with countless knocked out without reaching Russian lines.

Best part now of that film was Guy Gibson's, the boss, black dog called Nigger, renamed Trigger by those who couldn't cope. Nowadays they even have problems with its headstone, with the RAF replacing it. Shocked

Sadly Nigger, who loved bear and flew on training flights, was killed by a car on the night of the raid. His name being the code word of a successful dam hit.

Were it is aimed is the (turret) electronics compartment but seeing the white smoke it seems that the ammo bunker is at least damaged. Weird that the blast panel didn't work.

I saw Dam Busters back in college in the early 2000s because I was in a history club at a decent sized university somewhere in the midwestern United States. The film was shown at a lecture hall by a member of the university faculty. At that time his quick disclaimer that the name of the dog would offend modern audiences was sufficient. Today? If he were to show this film, the lecture hall would be put to the torch, he's be fired despite his tenure, and there'd be hot chocolate, counseling and morons -lots and lots of morons- who had never seen the film (I liked it because I have a world of respect for the genius that was Barnes Wallis and that raid and all that went into it was a fine bit of soldiery and airmanship) would be shouting loud streams of profanity and nonsensical chants and crying that they were victims of a horrible microaggression, and the Political Science Department would have an alternate event that would be mandatory for all their students, and Al Sharpton would descend on the town devouring restaurant after rrstaurant. Garry don't move this post because honestly it shows how deep into insanity America has plunged and that madness, embodied in every way, shape, and form, by the Biden regime explains so much about the lunacy that got us all in this current situation in Ukraine.

Perhaps. But a week or so back a Russian T72b3 took 2 stuga ATGM hits one to the side and other to the back and still drove away.
