But we do know the 82nd Brigade and its sister unit, the 46th Air Mobile Brigade, steadily are advancing from liberated Robotyne southeast toward Verbove.
Hilarious to read knowing that Robotino is still in a grey zone, and Verbove is a small village east of it that is being stormed for a while instead of Robotino. And they have broken their teeth there either
They are advancing! Only backwards!

Ukraine: The Latest - Why Russian tanks are falling short of their Western counterparts
The Russians very much focus on firepower and mobility whereas Western tanks favour protection, that is physical protection of the crew. A lot of us who’ve been looking at this closely, we’re very interested in data coming out of Ukraine this week that of the 71 Leopard 2 German tanks that have been operating right at the front, in Ukraine, only five have been destroyed and no tank crew have been killed, which is quite phenomenal.
aaaaa all is clear data is coming from Ukraine Id say no Leo was hit and 120% of Kinzhals were intercepted.

It's impossible to entirely avoid armor losses, especially due to the enemy's advantage in the air,” Ukrainian soldier Olexandr Solon'ko wrote. “However, armor serves a specific purpose that entails risks. These actions are justified by the fact that they save lives.”
“You can replace a piece of metal, even if it's expensive, but you can't repair a human life.”
Ukrainians saving lives ? sounds legit

The Challenger is a one trick pony, the British Army. The next iteration, basically a Challenger 2 with a Leo turret and gun, is the Challenger 3 and only 140 odd will be upgraded sometime over the next few years before 2027.
No British tanker who has access to the classified intel, which will be all of them via the grapevine, will have anything but a real view as to what their tanks, and by extension they, face. Its just that if any of them admit anything it will be a career ending event. They are neither stupid or brainwashed, quite the reverse as many are the best officers in the British Military.
But the political arena can't take it. Even a pinprick like me at UKDefenceJournal.org.uk forum got shadow banned then expelled for injecting too much reality.
There is just too much that has been invested in the wrong direction. No-one can admit it, they can only alter things at the margin. The Russians in Ukraine have injected a very unpleasant dose of reality. Without the power and effectiveness of the US/NATO PR machine that reality would have to be admitted, with career crushing results.

Bradleys and Leopards are great until they hit a mine and can’t move and get smothered by Russian artillery. Really, our big lesson of the summer is that mostly we go in on an attack at night carried by just our own legs. The armoured vehicles come up later
I have to admit, Ukrainian infantry are doing quite well using treelines to approuch and clear trenches. There are some deep creeping actions by them. They mocked Wagner but they are using their tactics. They still conduct laughable armored pushes. But how far they can go before they exhaust their manpower?

At some point even Goebbels propaganda realised that it´s better to exaggerate the potential of your enemies instead of shitting on him the whole time. Makes your victories look even greater and your losses not so bad.

I am tempted to agree with you
But they did honestly expect the Ukraine to break through with their uberweapons to Melitopol, and that the Russian army would break and run, didn't they now? Else they would have never so catastrophically overcommited to the venture.
And at the same time as anyone on this forum bar the most obscene doomers could have told those 'four start generals' that this simply was not going to happen. That the Russians were counting on them trying exactly something like that and would use their aggressiveness to their own advantage.
For a long time I myself did not believe that this was really 'it'. And that NATO must have some other tricks up its sleeves. But no, this was it. Just a big WW1 style series of waves against the thickest Russian defensive lines, and exactly where they boasted they would attack too.
I remember Douglas McGregor quite a long time ago bringing up the steppe army tactics of the Mongols, Tatars, etc... about using manuever to their advantage and feigned retreats to create fire bags and so on. Around the time of the Kupyansk or Kherson offensives. So it's obvious that at least part of their officer corps takes military study and military history seriously and has at least a passing familiarity with Russia's military history too. But definitely anyone with a lick of common sense doesn't seem to be among those involved in drafting the Ukrainian army's tactics and planning specifically.

The British army for years hid the truth that several Challenger 2s were fully penetrated in Iraq by RPG 29Vs at the tank's armour at the thickest part, the lower hull on the frontal arc, several drivers lost there feet
MOSCOW, September 5 - RIA Novosti. The Ukrainian army has lost more than 66,000 people and 7,600 weapons since the start of the so-called offensive, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a meeting with the leadership of the armed forces.
"Despite the colossal losses, the Kiev regime has been trying to conduct a so-called counter-offensive for the third month already. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have not achieved their goals in any of the areas," the head of the Defense Ministry said. He noted that the most tense situation developed in the Zaporozhye direction, where the enemy brought brigades from the strategic reserve into battle.
Significant damage was caused to Ukrainian units thanks to the actions of the 810th brigade and the 177th marine regiment, the 56th airborne assault and 71st motorized rifle regiments, as well as units of the 76th airborne assault division.
"Acting decisively in the Kupyansk and Kremensk directions, our troops liberated the Novoselovskoye settlement, significantly improving their position along the front line," Shoigu emphasized. He also noted the courage of the soldiers of the 1st, 12th and 26th tank regiments. The Russian army continues to destroy the military infrastructure of Ukraine , continued the Minister of Defense. In August, 34 command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were under attack. In addition, over the past month, 159 HIMARS rockets, more than a thousand drones and 13 cruise missiles were shot down. The Ukrainian counter-offensive in the South-Donetsk, Artyomovsk and Zaporozhye directions began on June 4. Kiev threw into battle brigades trained by NATO and armed with Western equipment. Vladimir Putin stated that the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine failed.
The efforts of the British MoD to protect their muhInvinCible Challenger II have long gotten to the point where this farcical episode will do more damage to the tank's reputation, than whatever footage of it actually being wrecked
Not to mention its own special gun of a special calibre that is not HATO compatible...
Today a friend of mine said that "one Challenger means nothing". Sure it does not, but it is only one revealed, and still represents 7% of the whole stock they have been given. People lack perspective, or the perspective presented to them is spoiled.
The fact that it is destroyed suggests the rest are not impervious to Russian fire and the idea that these super vehicles were just going to roll forward sweeping all in their path powerless to scratch them seems to be rather unlikely propaganda.
The Orcs are not idiots and the difference in training between these guys and HATO guys would not be enormous... this suggests claims of HATO superiority are a bit questionable especially considering the numbers involved and the numbers of equivalent stuff the Russians have already dealt with.
Nah, he is not retarded, believe me. He was just paid and asked to say this and that.
Or they wrote the article and made him up to sign the suicide note to make it look genuine...
I love the smell of burning NATO uber-ware in the morning
Don't breathe near that filthy whore, her APFSDS are DU remember... when that stuff burns you don't want to breathe in that smoke my friend.
In fact I wouldn't even let my worst enemy smell that smoke...
But they did honestly expect the Ukraine to break through with their uberweapons to Melitopol, and that the Russian army would break and run, didn't they now? Else they would have never so catastrophically overcommited to the venture.
Well with the Russian economy collapsing why would they not run away...
But no, this was it. Just a big WW1 style series of waves against the thickest Russian defensive lines, and exactly where they boasted they would attack too.
But even the most horrific battles of WWI they didn't talk about them for months before hand so their enemy could prepare...
It is a bit like the Americans withdrawing their airpower from Afghanistan 3 months before their last ground component left... it is just asking for trouble.

So the rains will arrive in Oct and probably put a pause on the fighting. Is it possible that Russia will allow Ukraine to get to this respite and have a whole 3-4 m to rebuild its forces? So then we will have the winter offensive, which will fail. a pause in spring for the mud + rebuild, then summer offensive.. then pause. WTF.
^ @2:00 These guys suspect that their commander is a Russian agent because he gave such criminally stupid orders. Lets just say that these idiots stumbled on half the truth. I believe that the Anglo empire wants high casualties even on the Ukraine side for their sick twisted reasons. So they were given criminal orders alright. But it probably wasn't from a Russian agent general.
Wasn't just challenger 2 that got destroyed a whole host of equipment was destroyed. T-64BV, 2x Kozak-7, BM-21, XA-180, M109, another SP artillery (not identified which), multiple soft skinned vehicles, and Tunguska shot down a drone (good footage) and how many more vehicles on other fronts destroyed. It really is a shit show for Ukrainian armed forces.
