China demands Ukraine explain ‘low intellectual potential’ slur
When asked to comment on the statements by Podoliak during a briefing on Wednesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said: “I don’t know the background of this person’s remarks, but he should clarify them.”
Later on Wednesday Podoliak took to X (formerly Twitter) to explain what he meant by questioning China’s and India’s intellectual abilities. He claimed that his comments were taken out of context by the Russian media.

I would not want to imagine how many Russian missiles could get through, if Putin decided a full-blown attack on EU and US soil.

This is insanely dangerous because these are WW2 Imperial Japanese weapons technologies that any monkey can replicate now.

This is dangerous because it turns out that NATO is able to hit important infrastructure with a small number of cruise missiles. And they have thousands of cruise missiles.
They've tried dozens upon dozens of times and finally after 18 months of attempts the Ukraine manage to hit something in Sevastopol with missiles
It's not representative because in a NATO-Russia war there will be no opportunity to probe Russian defenses endlessly and at their leisure.

ah the old Russian media is to blame trick, i'm sure any half decent translator who speaks Ukrainian can verify Podoliak comments were disparaging of Chinese and Indians,

They will do what they do best, absolutely nothing just a few cruise missile and drone strikes here and there and that's it.Backman wrote:

It is quite funny how Shoigu tries to present that attacks on Crimea were not done with Storm Shadow, as that is an official red line per MOD. And it is not the first time, either.

It is a different thing, you must understand.

The last time this guy was talking about crossing the red line, it ended up with medevac planes running like headless chickens all over Poland, from 404 to Rzeszow, Gdansk, and Goleniow.
Repacked, and followed by the others heading Rammstein.
Landstuhl actually, but it can be covered up
Wonder who will end up first, NATO high profiles ready to take a trip to a hive in Kiev, or Russkie missiles.

Edit : Horizontal Nets can stop ballistic missiles in the air or on the ground or below ground level . The interlinked elements of net are made of explosives that upon detachment , destroy the incoming !

The way the Russian do PR really is questionable. The time for talk is over, just rain 25 cruise missile on decision making centers already. Why they even are allowed to exist puzzles me. Also lofting 10 storm shadows requires at least planes. hmmm

It is well fucking protected. They used ATACMS , storm shadows and improvised s-200 missiles. 7-10 missiles
The stark reality is that every AD system can be defeated by saturation, the only question is, what is the saturation level. And this can be achieved by EW, decoys, and lots of missiles.

Elon Musk said his company was not allowed to provide coverage in the area due to US sanctions against Russia.
“Now, the reason it was turned off was actually because… the United States has sanctions against Russia… and that includes Crimea,” he continued.
According to the billionaire, “we are not actually allowed to turn on connectivity to… the country without explicit [US] government approval.”
The entrepreneur claimed that the planned Ukrainian attack on the Russian fleet in Sevastopol would have been similar in impact to the Japanese attack on the US fleet at Pearl Harbor during World War Two, potentially leading to a major escalation.
“So, [the Ukrainians] really asked us to really proactively take part in a major act of war,” Musk concluded.

That's a bummer. Probably will be refitted for pride purposes more than its use but not anytime soon.
Expect similar attack over Berdyansk air base anytime soon.
The best counter-escalation is inflicting defeat on the ground by opening several fronts at once as well as killing the HIMARS threat reducing it to an obsolete weapon.
But don't expect something quick and poorly planned, this is what NATO expects from these provocations. Way better is that the Russian forces keep adding forces, polish their knives and boots till the opportunity shows by itself. Most likely around early 2024.

And the Russki idiot put it here, without any comment.
Make your judgment.
BTW, the whole short interview was quite informative, like deliberated active defence to bleed the Ukrs white.
