Seems Russkie are getting ready for inevitable acts of desperate.

They have a long tradition of dealing with terrorism, so ...

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation has approved a special procedure for the entry of Ukrainian citizens into Russia - this is a temporary measure:

    ➡From midnight on October 16, citizens of Ukraine will be able to enter Russia only through the Ludonka automobile checkpoint in the Pskov region and through Sheremetyevo;

    ➡The new entry procedure does not apply to persons under the age of 14 traveling from third countries independently or accompanied by Russians;

➡The procedure for entry into the Russian Federation, valid for Ukrainian citizens located in new Russian regions, remains unchanged.

Recent Strikes on Ukrainian Rear Areas: An Analysis from Military Chronicles

Military Watch Magazine has conducted a comprehensive analysis of recent strikes on Ukrainian rear areas, offering critical insights into the state of Ukraine's defense. This report delves into the targets and characteristics of these strikes, providing valuable conclusions regarding the overall condition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VСU).

    What Happened?
From August to October, the Russian Armed Forces (VС RF) executed a series of impactful strikes on Ukrainian rear areas. These strikes, although overshadowed by high-profile attacks on strategic targets such as the Dolgintsevo airbase, which resulted in the destruction of MiG-29 fighters and fuel tanks, may carry greater strategic significance.

    Targets Destroyed:
In the vast majority of cases, these strikes targeted military convoys transporting equipment of the VСU. Less frequently, strikes hit training camps and personnel concentrations in rear areas. The striking range in almost all instances ranged from 50 to 80 kilometers. Four episodes stand out for their destruction of weaponry, vehicles, and VСU personnel: a strike on a railway convoy near the village of Ukrainka (Zaporizhia region), a strike on a railway convoy near the Mezheva station (DNR), a strike on a railway convoy at the Mertsalovo station (DNR), and an attack on a VСU training camp in Kucherov Yar (DNR).

    What's Unusual About These Strikes?
All these strikes were documented through objective surveillance means, indicating extended presence of unmanned reconnaissance drones over the impact areas, which went unnoticed.

Presumably, due to the degradation of the VСU air defense system, resulting from munition and detection system depletion, integration challenges with Western systems, and ammunition shortages, the air defense system is gradually shifting towards localized and object-oriented defense. This implies that fewer regions in Ukraine are constantly covered by air defense systems and detection assets.

    Impact on Air Defense:
The active effort to suppress and destroy the VСU's air defense systems has led to increased use of drones for target reconnaissance. This has enabled the VС RF to identify and monitor high-priority targets such as logistics hubs, warehouses, command centers, communication nodes, and troop concentrations.

    Key Takeaway:
For several months, the VСU had been actively deploying air defense systems in the frontline zone, complicating Russian aviation operations. These air defense systems, including Western IRIS-T complexes, were presumably intended to cover advancing Ukrainian forces.

However, in reality, the Ukrainian air defense system proved vulnerable to precision weaponry. Following strikes on the positional areas of air defense systems, some complexes were destroyed, while others were rendered inoperative and withdrawn to rear areas.

It's essential to highlight that, strategically, there has been no secure rear area for the VСU since 2022. Developing effective countermeasures against air and sea-launched cruise missile strikes, as well as barrage munitions like "Gerasim" and "Lancet," has remained an unmet challenge for the VСU.

    Conclusion:
A series of missile strikes on convoys with military equipment, training grounds, and other vital installations indicates that the VСU is gradually losing its ability to effectively cover its forces at the operational and tactical levels. While there may still be sufficient air defense systems to protect key administrative centers like Kyiv or critical infrastructure like railway hubs and power stations, the extensive and drawn-out nature of the conflict zone poses insurmountable challenges for comprehensive air defense coverage.

This report underscores the evolving dynamics on the Ukrainian frontlines and their impact on Ukraine's air defense capabilities in the context of a vast theater of military operations.

    Well, 99% of them.
It is not if Russia is destroying those targets now, but how many of them have there ever been.
Ukraine is a post Soviet state, planned to be a frontal/buffer from the very beginning.
Some of you are cheering the fact that some command point has been taken out ... Great! They still have some 100 left.
Some of them being buried 150m underground. And covered with the capital city metro stations.
Every single high rise building is made with norms equal to western defensive lines.
With solid reinforced concrete covers and walls over those.
This is something I had explained to some of you multiple times - you who live in Murica, or Canada, or Australia. Or whatever.
You have not a single clue how the infrastructure look like here in Urope.
A Grad salvo will burn to the ground a whole Murican suburb district.
    As easy as that.
In most of the Euro standards, it will damage some buildings.
We don't build with cardboard, can you finally get that?
    Thats all.

Scoop: Russia Fine-tuning Electronic Warfare Systems to Suppress Ukraine’s F-16s, by Ilya Tsukanov for Sputnikglobe.com. 10.06.2023.

NATO countries plan to deliver several dozen F-16 Fighting Falcon fourth-generation fighter jets to Ukraine beginning next year, with pilot training commencing in the US and Denmark in recent weeks.

The Russian military is optimizing its electronic warfare systems to target F-16s in anticipation of the warplanes’ delivery to Ukraine, an informed source has told Sputnik.

“Russian electronic warfare systems used in the special military operation zone will received optimized settings to suppress radars and onboard equipment of NATO F-16 fighters which Western countries plan to supply to Kiev,” the source said.
“Based on what we know about the onboard avionics of NATO frontline fighters Kiev will be getting, it will be easier to suppress them than the Soviet-designed aircraft in Ukraine’s inventory,” the source added.

This information complements info provided to Sputnik by another source last month that Russia’s electronic warfare systems have been successfully forcing Ukrainian combat aircraft to prematurely abandon their combat missions and return to base due to jamming by systems including the Krasukha mobile, ground-based electronic warfare system.

Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway plan to transfer up to 71 F-16s to the Ukrainian Air Force starting in 2024 at the earliest, with the training of Ukrainian pilots beginning in earnest in Denmark and the US in in August and September.

However, Commander of US Air Forces Europe Gen. James B. Heckler warned in August that building Ukrainian pilots’ proficiency in flying the planes could take at least “four or five years” to muster, meaning that even after the F-16s arrive, they might “help a little bit,” but won’t be a “silver bullet.”

Further complicating the Ukrainian Air Force’s mission is a high loss rate, with the Russian military reporting that over 470 Ukrainian fixed wing aircraft and nearly 250 helicopters have been knocked out to date, including many of the Soviet-era planes and choppers delivered to the country from NATO’s Eastern European members’ armories.

The unprecedented scale of the proxy conflict with NATO in Ukraine has forced Russia’s air defenses and electronic warfare units to rapidly adapt to the alliance’s latest and most modern weapons systems, including advanced strike drones and long-range cruise missiles. However, as Western officials and media have admitted, the F-16 fighters Ukraine will be receiving are a fighter platform that’s well over forty years old, with Russian air defense technology designed specifically to target the NATO standard aircraft going back to the 1980s.

The operations of Lancet & Co. In September over 500 attacks were documented. The Geran-2s draw fire quite well, the smaller drones do the rest. The goals are becoming smaller and smaller, more and more individual.

It's only a matter of time before everything gets going and no one on the Ukrainian side wants to set foot outside the door anymore. There are no more armored vehicles, no air defense, nothing that offers protection.

In addition, NATO has nothing for air protection. Russia has Panzir and TOR. The latter provides almost reliable protection. What does NATO have? Nothing but old, usable German anti-aircraft tanks. WOW. Even if they reactivate all of them. There is neither ammunition nor will it survive long in the field.

NATO has a hole 10 years from now, a damn hole and that is the entire NATO area itself. You see from Ukraine, you can harm Russia but not every day, not really painfully, it has enough air defense, enough air force. But they themselves have nothing, nothing against 50 Geran-2, 25 Lancets and other drones every day.

Every damn day there would be one wave after another and they would have nothing. Neither systems nor ammunition nor the personnel for them. And the Russian General Staff will know this.

We will be curious to see whether every possible target in the west of Ukraine will soon be attacked from Belarus. By then, at the latest, the last person at NATO should realize that it's over.

-9S32 This controls the 9A83 launchers with 9M83 missile, for general aviation target and smaller ballistic missile
-9S18 "Imbir" This control the 9A82 launchers which fires the 9M82 missile, this constitutes the long range and to target higher end Ballistic target
    -Command post
    -9A83 and 9A82 launchers
    -Transloader to reload the missile
-Mobile bunks and maybe fuel tanker as the S-300V components needs fuel with maximum autonomy of about 2 days.

Each 9S32 and 9S18 radar can control several launchers maybe 6 or more so the total component of a battery can exceed 10 vehicles.

"The Head of the Cybersecurity Department of the Mukachevo Border Detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Ruslan Stanislavovich Syrovoy, arrived in Moscow. He has been engaged in subversive activities and collecting information for our special services for a long time. Thanks to Syrovoy, we managed to gain access to many closed databases, digital infrastructure and communication centers of the enemy."
