Summary of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on the progress of the special military operation (for the period from February 24 to March 1, 2024)

In the period from February 24 to March 1, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out 23 group strikes with precision weapons, multiple launch rocket systems and unmanned aerial vehicles against objects of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine that produced reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicles, arsenals and bases of fuel and lubricants for military equipment.

The locations of the AFU units, nationalist formations and foreign mercenaries were also affected. All assigned objects are hit.

In the Kupyansk direction, during the week, units of the Western Group of Troops actively improved the situation along the front edge and defeated enemy manpower and equipment in the areas of the settlements of Ivanovka, Peschanoe and Prikolotnoye in the Kharkiv region.

30 counterattacks of the assault groups of the 32nd mechanized, 77th airmobile, 95th airborne assault, 57th motorized Infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were reflected in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Kharkiv region and Terny, Donetsk People's Republic.

The enemy's losses amounted to over 755 soldiers, three tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 18 vehicles, as well as 23 field artillery pieces.

In the Donetsk direction, units of the Southern Group of Troops occupied more advantageous positions and defeated formations of the 5th, 92nd assault, 28th, 72nd, 93rd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 107th and 241st air defense brigades in the areas of settlements Kleshcheyevka, Bogdanovka, Dyleyevka, Kurdyumovka, Andreevka and Krasnoe of the Donetsk People's Republic.

In addition, 18 counterattacks of the AFU assault groups were reflected in the areas of the settlements of Berestovoye, Krasnogorovka, Georgievka and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk People's Republic.

The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the specified period amounted to more than 2,835 servicemen, seven tanks, 16 armored combat vehicles, 49 vehicles and 24 field artillery guns.

In the Avdiivka direction, units of the Center group of forces liberated the settlements of Lastochkino, Severnoye, Petrovskoye of the Donetsk People's Republic and continued their advance in the western direction.

In cooperation with aviation and artillery, they defeated concentrations of manpower and equipment of the 23rd, 24th, 53rd, 61st, 110th mechanized, 59th motorized Infantry and 3rd assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the 103rd and 107th air defense brigades in populated areas the settlements of Netailovo, Ocheretino, Mayorsk and Rozovka of the Donetsk People's Republic.

48 counterattacks by assault groups in the areas of the settlements of Novgorodskoye, Leninskoye, Tonenkoye, Orlovka and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk People's Republic were also reflected.

During the week in this direction, the enemy lost over 2,600 troops, 23 tanks, including Abrams made by the United States, 45 armored combat vehicles, 83 vehicles, as well as 26 field artillery guns.

In the South Donetsk direction, units of the Vostok group of troops improved the situation along the front edge and repelled seven attacks by enemy assault groups in the areas of the settlements of Marfopol, Zaporizhia region, Novodonetsky and Shevchenko, Donetsk People's Republic.

In addition, units of the 72nd mechanized and 58th motorized Infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 108th, 121st, 127th, 128th air defense brigades were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Vodiane, Ugledar, Urozhodnoye, Staromayorskoye, Rovnopol of the Donetsk People's Republic and Lugovskoye of the Zaporozhye region.

The losses of the Armed Forces amounted to 890 soldiers, three tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 28 vehicles and eight field artillery guns.

In the Kherson direction, Russian troops took more advantageous positions and repelled seven attacks by assault groups of the 117th, 118th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 15th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine in the area of the settlement of Rabotino, Zaporizhia region.

They also inflicted a complex fire defeat on the manpower and equipment of the 28th, 65th, 118th mechanized, 44th airmobile, 128th mountain assault brigades, as well as the 35th Marine Brigade and the 121st Air Defense Brigade in the areas of the settlements of Verbovoye, Primorskoye, Novopokrovka, Orekhov, Malaya Tokmachka, Nesteryanka, Zaporizhia region, Ilyinka, Dnipropetrovsk region, Tokarevka and Dudchany, Kherson region.

Units of the Russian group of troops thwarted an attempt to land on high-speed motorboats of the sabotage group of the 73rd naval center of the special operations forces of the Ukrainian Navy in the area of the Tendrov Spit.

As a result of the short-lived battle, four enemy boats were hit and sank. Up to 25 Ukrainian servicemen were killed, one was captured.

The total enemy losses in the Kherson area during the week amounted to more than 290 soldiers, three tanks, four armored combat vehicles, 34 vehicles and 16 field artillery guns.

The P-18 radar station, two radars and a launcher of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, a Norwegian-made NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system combat vehicle, as well as five Bukovel-AD electronic warfare stations were destroyed by operational and tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery groups of troops during the week.

During the week, two MiG-29 fighters, a Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, two Storm Shadow cruise missiles, four JDAM guided aerial bombs, 35 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, as well as 639 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense means.

From February 24 to March 1, 16 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 575 aircraft, 267 helicopters, 13,862 unmanned aerial vehicles, 475 anti-aircraft missile systems, 15,304 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,227 multiple rocket launchers, 8,242 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 19,236 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.

I still dont know how this F-16 shit will get resolved, let's say they do withstand bombing because short range air defenses cover them and Russia manages to capture northern Ukraine. Will the Russians do anything if Ukraine's F-16s launch air to ground missiles from NATO's airspace, can they choose to shoot them down in NATO's airspace with SAMs or air to air missiles if they don't choose to bomb NATO's runways hosting the aircrafts?

Remember I think Stoltenberg said the Ukrainians will use F-16s outside their borders.

NATO warships always get into collisions or some kind of fuckups out at sea that I dont see how they would do any better if they were the ones parked in Crimea having an enemy sea coast close by that is not secured yet. They can only do so much as to bomb questionable facilities that have drones or missiles......which is why I repeatedly ask here how long until Odessa is secured so i can no longer see NAFO tards gloating for a week how they hit a russian ship?
