Summary of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on the progress of the special military operation (for the period from March 9 to March 15, 2024)
From March 9 to March 15, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out 50 group strikes with precision weapons, multiple launch rocket systems and unmanned aerial vehicles on objects of the airfield infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, repair shops for weapons and military equipment, storage depots for UAVs and unmanned boats, arsenals and bases of fuel and lubricants. All assigned objects are hit.
The locations of the AFU units, nationalist formations and foreign mercenaries were also affected.
In the Kupyansk direction, during the week, units of the "Western" grouping of troops actively improved the situation along the front edge, defeated the manpower and equipment of six mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Berestovoye, Peschanoe, Kharkiv region and Serebryanka, Donetsk People's Republic.
22 counterattacks by assault groups of the 57th Motorized Infantry, 32nd and 47th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were reflected in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Pershotravnevoye of the Kharkiv region and Terny of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The enemy's losses amounted to over 305 soldiers, three tanks, two armored combat vehicles, 21 vehicles, a Czech-made MLRS "Vampire" combat vehicle and 25 field artillery guns.
In addition, from March 12 to March 15, as a result of proactive and coordinated actions of Russian troops together with units of the border guard service of the FSB of Russia, all attempts to break through the Armed Forces of Ukraine into the territory of the Belgorod and Kursk regions were prevented.
Air strikes and artillery fire destroyed more than 550 military personnel, 16 tanks, 19 armored combat vehicles, including 11 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles manufactured in the United States and 15 vehicles.
In the Donetsk direction, units of the "Southern" group of troops, conducting active hostilities, liberated the settlement of Nevelskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic and occupied more advantageous positions.
Formations of seven mechanized and five assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Kurakhovo, Disputable, Razdolovka, Kleshcheyevka, Kurdyumovka, Krasnogorovka and Georgievka of the Donetsk People's Republic.
In addition, four counterattacks of the assault groups of the 79th airborne Assault and 81st airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk People's Republic were reflected.
The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 1,930 servicemen, nine tanks, 12 armored combat vehicles, 41 vehicles, 18 field artillery pieces, two combat vehicles of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system and eight field ammunition depots.
In the Avdiivka direction, units of the Center group of forces continued to advance and occupy more advantageous positions.
In cooperation with aviation and artillery, the manpower and equipment of 11 AFU brigades were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Ocheretino, Novozhelannoye, Novogrodovka, Rozovka and Kalinovo of the Donetsk People's Republic.
64 counterattacks by enemy formations in the areas of the settlements of Berdych, Semenovka, Pervomaiske, Tonenke and Orlovka of the Donetsk People's Republic were also reflected.

Seven enemy counterattacks were reflected in the areas of the settlements of Staromayorskoye, Novodonetskoye, Shevchenko of the Donetsk People's Republic and Vladimirovka of the Zaporozhye region.
The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 980 servicemen, a tank, seven armored combat vehicles, 31 vehicles and 11 field artillery guns.
In the Kherson direction, Russian troops took more advantageous positions, inflicted a complex fire defeat on the formations of the 141st infantry, 65th, 117th mechanized, 82nd, 128th assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the 35th Marine Brigade in the areas of the settlements of Workino, Novoselovka, Orekhov, Kamenskoye, Stepnoye, Pyatikhatki, Zaporizhia region, Berislav and Tyaginka, Kherson region.
