Equally I would think North Korean officers might find some front line experience to be useful, learning how HATO fights and their communications would be valuable for them in their own defensive preparations.
And further there will be a lot of young North Korean men who might want good honest labour to earn good money for their families and themselves, and being trained to build rail lines and roads and perhaps aircraft production would be valuable skills they could take home to North Korea.
There are lots of areas that Russia and North Korea can work together to make both of their countries better and safer.
Russia has plenty of food for export so there is no reason for North Korea to suffer from famines, both food and food growing technology and techniques can be passed on to help them feed themselves and perhaps export food too.
Helping North Korea grow and develop does not hurt Russia at all, and a happier safer feeling North Korea is better for everyone except the west who thrive on conflict and suffering.
