Ukraine's air defense system is capable of countering Russian Zircon hypersonic missiles with European SAMP/T and U.S. Patriot systems, Air Force spokesman Illya Yevlash said on national television on March 27.
He also suggested that Russia's use of Zircon missiles could indicate a shortage of other types of missiles. + Russia had shortened the intervals between massive airstrikes in order to find weaknesses in Ukrainian air defenses, Yevlash said on March 26.
Could you say it again?!
Ukro MoD said 2 were destroyed. I guess they forgot to add with Bunkers and Patriot batteries. and here its not a village shack chimney isolation but Zircon shot by Ukrainians
Cirkon was found to be very efficient. It is already accepted for service. Currently, not only on ships but also on land launchers from which Kiev was attacked.

Geraniums flew to Sumy, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Odessa and Nikolaev regions. Tactical aviation strikes on targets in the Kharkov region, as well as on the occupied part of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Ballistic missile strikes against targets in the occupied part of the DPR and the Kharkov region. Tu-22M3 bombers attacked targets in the Odessa region with X-22 missiles.
Interesting arrivals: A facility in Kharkov was hit by gliding bombs. They had never made it there before. Ukry writes that new UMPB glide bombs were used, which are equipped with an engine and can be launched from 300 mm MLRS or from aircraft. The range is unknown, but if they hit Kharkov, then it’s 30 kilometers from the border there.

Perfect. Saves Russia the trouble of going to find them
The AFU is transferring its personal command reserves near Chasov Yar in the DPR
This was reported to RIA Novosti by retired LPR Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko:
Weapons, military equipment and personnel are being transferred from the rear areas, and the personal reserves of the ground forces command are also being used.
The Ukrainian military have taken such a step in order to stabilise the contact line.

Coming back to the Kh-35 missiles being used against radar stations in the past weeks. Could they be ground launched? From Bal complexes?
Yes. There are ground launched and air launched versions of the missile. The helicopter launched version is the same as the ground launched model and has a solid rocket booster so it can be fired in a hover and does not require the helicopter to accelerate to a set speed before it can launch the missile.
Regarding Zircon I suspect the sea launched model is cleared for service but have not heard them say the land launched model is ready for service yet, but that is also normal.
Weapons, military equipment and personnel are being transferred from the rear areas, and the personal reserves of the ground forces command are also being used.
So their shortages are getting rather extreme and they are being stretched.... Good.

Our source reports that the Russian Armed Forces could launch a major offensive at any time, but they can postpone it, starting in the winter after the US elections. Also, the Russians can wait for the start of the Israeli case 2.0, when the Jews will trample further and the whole world will switch there. As the source explains, the Russians can continue their creeping offensive, accumulating forces and ammunition for a blitzkrieg in the winter of 2024, and until that moment simply slowly destroy the entire infrastructure of Ukraine, making cities uninhabitable, so that people leave Ukraine, the domestic economy freezes, the budget deficit grows, and financing and maintaining the Ukrainian crisis became more and more expensive, which became unprofitable for the “sponsors.”
Therefore, the information in the Western press is partly correct. Here is Zelensky’s statement that Ukraine will not be able to defend itself, since there is almost no artillery - this message was launched in order to force the West to increase arms supplies. Including air defense, which will always be in short supply. Also, a broad offensive by the Russian Armed Forces is now beneficial for the Democrats and Biden in order to push through financial assistance to Kyiv and to actualize the Ukrainian crisis in the global information field.
Until winter, the situation in Ukraine will worsen in all directions - this is a fact, which means the Russian Federation has a trump card. Why rush?
We'll see how it goes.

Aquí, una vez más, no hay comentarios, la interacción fue completamente sin fondo y así sigue siendo, pase lo que pase.
Bullshit, there are hundreds of combat missions carried out per day by the VKS and tens of thousands of enemy targets shot down by the Russian AD, it won't be a dozen cases of friendly fire in two years that will put into question the interaction between aviation and the AD Russian.
Sevastopol Governor Razvozhaev confirmed that the plane crashed into the sea near the city.
“The pilot ejected. He was picked up by rescuers from the Sevastopol Rescue Service at a distance of two hundred meters from the shore. His life is not in danger,” Razvozzhaev stated.
The missing plane is reported to have been a Su-27 fighter.
I give up. I will take a month off from this thread. This war has taught me life is easier to be a high ranking Russian army military official than it is for Navy or Airforce because you will get less scolding.

The F-16s being delivered to Ukraine “will not change the situation on the battlefield,” and Russia will destroy them “just as we today destroy tanks, armored vehicles and other equipment, including multiple rocket launchers,” Vladimir Putin told Russian military pilots during a working visit to Tver region Wednesday.
Veteran military aviation historian and author Nikolai Bodrikhin agrees with this assessment, saying the F-16 is an “old” plane whose characteristics, capabilities and limitations are “well known” to the Russian military.
“Our fighters have missiles with a range that’s probably no less than that of the F-16’s air-to-air missiles, and there are ground-based complexes, even the old S-200 complexes, which can hit them quite easily – all the more so when it comes to the more modern S-300, S-400 and others,” Bodrikhin said. “In other words, we have a lot of air defense systems capable of destroying a significant number of these aircraft, even if they attack simultaneously.”
The observer believes the only practical threat US-made aircraft can pose to Russia are as a missile carrier on a suicide mission. “I don’t expect these planes to play any major role, but they can carry and accelerate air-to-ground missiles like a kamikaze – speeding the missile up and getting shot down, but the missile will be become difficult to intercept. This is the only regard in which a danger can manifest itself,” Bodrikihin explained.
To counter this threat, Russia’s Air Force and Air Defense Troops will have to track the F-16 jets from the moment of launch, and when they gain an appropriate height (conventionally, above 3,000 meters), they must be attacked and destroyed, according to the observer.
