ayden @squatsons “The weather in the special operation zone in April will be favorable for the intensification of hostilities, RIA Novosti was told at the Phobos center.
It will be 4 degrees hotter than normal, and the shortfall in rain will be up to a third of the monthly precipitation norm.”
I’ve been saying for a while that the muddy season will be short. If you watch my livestreams you know. 10:57 AM · Apr 1, 2024 · 19.6K Views
Blackness at night and no power for trains/industry etc is rapidly closing in as Russia starts to act like the US.
Ukrainian TG channel reports:
Today in Kharkov, almost all critical energy infrastructure has been destroyed, the private one is also broken, more than 150,000 Kharkov residents remain homeless , said the mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov.
“ Russia destroyed all transformer substations and damaged thermal power plants. There was a blackout in Kharkov. It is impossible to quickly restore this capacity. They work, but are not fully restored. We had to end the heating season early to save money. The introduced blackout schedules are hourly ,” the mayor explained.
According to him, Russia has begun to fire new ammunition at Kharkov - they travel a distance of up to 90 km. There have already been two such strikes over the past week.
“ Russia is using new weapons. The same shell also hit a suburb of Kharkov on March 28. Houses in the private sector were destroyed. The Russians did not come closer to the city. But they are using a new projectile with a longer range ,” Terekhov said in an interview with LIGA_net.

The Russian Forces have made significant progress toward Chasov Yar, with less than half a kilometer remaining to reach the city
It's worth noting that our troops have successfully captured all major strongholds, fortifications, and a network of trenches that constituted the Ukrainian Armed Forces' line of defense, designed to halt our advance on the city.
As a result, only open fields and, essentially, the city itself remain, marking the imminent start of urban combat.
Our artillery and Air Forces are coordinating closely to target the Chasov Yar garrison of the AFU, aiming to soften resistance and facilitate the infantry's advance.

There is one giant difference for Ukrs if compared to the regular US victims. They are being supplied with electricity from Poland as we speak. It has just emerged here. They are being powered from Romania as well. But hey, those are only cables to be cut, right?

It is as true as can be. I was telling you that 2+ years ago. Not sure now Some of my closest friends and relatives live there on the border. A flow of Ukrainians began at least 2 days before 220224. What was the general observation, was a difference in the quality of the cars that were flowing. Before the war, a whole column of R&R, Bentleys and Maybachs just passed by. Luxury MB, BMW, and Lexus followed. The quality of the cars steadily deteriorated into the war, ending up with a 30 y/o Zhiguli driven by a girl with two kids inside, tears in her eyes, because the car just got broken.

Finally found my FAB 9000,10000,15000 glide look alike with folding wings
x2 fit in Tu 160 carrier bombing bay nicely as I predicted
Instead of making a long range hypersonic as Kh 90 original , modify it to lob ultra heavy warhead at least 300 - 500 km range there is no threat for the bomber
Mininuke power can justify the cost, in the SMO killing power is everything especially clearing heavy urban areas

Is that the Koalitsiya in action? Wiki says 80km for the rocket assisted rounds, so that may be conservative or maybe they were able to use prevailing winds at high altitude.
Judging by the heads on these upright 2-legged bovines, the Ukropi unfortunates who have been press-ganged as meat-grinder fodder are probably a little sanguine about their fates. Gotta look at the bright side I guess...

No, using a commercial light plane filled with explosives. And managed to hit a dormitory, wounding seven people and an elevation of some random building.
