@Garry: is it advisable for Russian Vepr shotgun to adapt the bullpup design like this (sorry I am a hardcore fan of bullpup or grip-positioned magazines Embarassed )
I do like bullpup weapons too, but I don't think it is necessary for a shotgun for this purpose... a nice long barrel Vepr would do just fine.
I would say a 25 round drum magazine would not sit well on a bullpup shotgun, while on a Vepr it would be just fine.
The 30-round drum on the Saiga fits well too. In my opinion, the concern lies in the weight of the shotgun plus ammo versus agility. A diving FPV drone moves at around 30m/s, leaving little time for reloading. However, agility is crucial. I appreciate your suggestion regarding the 40mm "canister shot" with high density over a large area. Perhaps two barrels are even better than a drum-fed system.[/quote]

So another incredibly successful attack on "Morozovsk and Engels" so to speak. They evidently tried, but failed, yet loudly announced an incredible success anyway, and media went along with it. Some media do issue corrections post-BDA (which shows no damage whatsoever), but the vast majority just stay silent. It's "pro-Russia" to point out Ukrainian lies, you know.
Anyway, gotta mention a pet peeve of mine... All the people that post machine-translated Russian MoD reports... For the mother of god, please proofread them first. I've seen it for two years now, here and on Twitter/X and whatever...
The Russian acronym for the so-called SMO, "СВО" (SVO) stands for "специальная военная операция", "special military operation", all good. But СВО can also mean "северный военный округ" (northern military district) and that's what the machine translations always seem go for.
So one keeps getting these "blablabla in the area of the northern military district", or "participant of the northern military district" things being posted everywhere. Just take your time and proofread it.
I swear, machine translations are the worst.

The most funny part was that they have claimed to destroy Poslonuch radar
In a case that someone don't get the joke, this is how it looks like :
Those pales are fully replaceable, with all the cables etc.
To "destroy it" would require physically raze to the ground a whole area, because this radar will operate anyway wit a part of it's infrastructure non operational.
Untill they would just rise a new ones and cable them.

But now the high-rank officers in very "democratic" Maidan regime proposing recruiting manslaughter criminals as soldiers.

Send murderers directly to front lines – Ukraine’s justice minister
Those who have already killed would make more effective soldiers than those who haven’t, Denis Malyuska argues
Earlier this month, the Ukrainian parliament approved a bill allowing for the incorporation of convicts into the country’s armed forces, except for those who have committed crimes against national security or who have murdered two or more people. The exemptions also include rapists, pedophiles, and those responsible for fatal driving accidents under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
However, the minister suggested that those who committed homicide should not be banned from service. “Perhaps those who know how to kill would be more effective as soldiers than those who have not killed yet, and less dangerous than those who were robbing for decades and [were] then given a machine gun,” he said, as cited by Ukrainian media.

I disagree... HATO and Kiev would likely be rather more effective in a guerilla type situation, and Russian troops pushing into parts of this nazi country that are openly hostile to Russia wont help Russia.
Russia is much better at counter insurgency and they have an extensive spy network they can rely on. The message to the west can be simple, back down or Russia will start aiding every terror group in the West.

So in a way this radar system is something akin to a much more advanced home chain type system where you have to hit the whole damn thing and the surrounding electronic and control bunkers or else you didn't achieve anything?

Vigorous Falcon
@VigorousFalcon
Ukrainian Airforce even after loosing 3 Mig-29s at the Dzhankoi airbase, they yet again park another Mig-29 outside this time at Aviatorske (the post is wrong when saying Dzhanskoi), loosing another Mig-29 today.
Additional another S-300 battery consisting of at least 1 launcher and a 40V6M radar. More so, an alleged 79K6 radar was damaged.

In the first post Konteyner was mentioned, which is a little bigger. The most funny part was that they have claimed to destroy Poslonuch radar
But the whole story was a hoax anyway.
Why should Russia aid the CIA or MI6?start aiding every terror group in the West.
Just Zelensky smoking crack.Stepping up the pressure.

They report the arrival of the French military in Odessa
TG channel “Kherson Resistance,” citing its own sources in the city, reports that on April 10, at least 1,000 French military personnel arrived in the Odessa port on a civilian ship.
These French, according to the source, were met and accompanied by NATO officers. It is also reported that another transfer of French military personnel to Ukraine is planned in the near future.
This information has not yet been officially confirmed by the Ministry of Defense.

Odessa is not really an ethnic Ukrainian city; it is located on the territory of the former New Serbia.
These are not pro-Russian Ukrainians, these are ethnic Russians and other non-Ukrainians from the New Serbia.

I think this is third time in a month these rumors are going around.
Pics are needed.
But anyways, Russia had hammered Odessa for a short bit recently, so I'm assuming they are hitting where some of these men and assets are.

Electronic circuit board on Russian Jdamski bombs, such as RBK-500, harvested by Ukrainian soldiers and sold on black market.
As Russians continously bombard Ukrainian positions using Jdamski such as RBK-500, there are a number of remaining electronic board for surviving Ukrainians to collect and sell.
Readers's comment:
And then the Russian GRU and SVR purchase these electronic board from the Ukrainian black market, install them in Russian bombs, and drop bombs on the head of the Ukrainians again.
