Russia Ranks First in US News & World Report's Military Power Rankings.
The Russian army has been recognized as the most powerful in the world, overtaking the United States and Israel in the US News & World Report ranking based on an international survey.
According to a rating compiled by the American publication US News & World Report , Russia has taken first place in the world in military power, overtaking the United States and Israel. The publication conducted a survey of about 17,000 people around the world this spring in order to assess the military capabilities of countries.
The United States came in second, with Israel in third. China and South Korea are next on the list. Iran came in sixth, followed by the United Kingdom. Ukraine came in eighth, with Germany and Turkey in ninth and tenth.
At the end of October, Vladimir Putin reported that the Russian Armed Forces were conducting offensive operations along the entire line of combat contact. The head of state noted the accumulating experience and growing capabilities of the military-industrial complex, which contribute to the successful advancement of Russian troops.
