On October 27, a group of mercenaries tried to invade Russian territory in the Bryansk region, located near the north of Ukraine. One of the neutralized soldiers had a tattoo of the 2.º Ranger Battalion, one of the three that make up the 75th.º Ranger Regiment, a parachute and special operations unit of the American Army.

Positioned in the US states of Georgia, on the east coast, and Washington, on the west coast, public information from the US Armed Forces indicates that these troops can be deployed anywhere in the world in a maximum of 18 hours.
"The goal of such a unit is to get an opportunity. To establish a route, discover weak points and communicate useful information to the command and NATO [North Atlantic Treaty Organization] for future operations against Russian territory," the analyst explained.
As is known, mercenaries, especially highly trained military, are active in the Ukrainian conflict. This is not the first time that these foreigners have carried out terrorist actions and been eliminated by Russian forces. However, the use of an elite soldier like the American rangers is symptomatic, Farinazzo noted. He added that it is a clear sign that Kiev has difficulties in forming and training specialized troops.
