Trump will just propose Europe the greatest deal ever. They will pay for US rearmament by funding the lend lease to Ukraine. The US takes some old shit from the weapons stockpiles while the EU pay for brand new replacements for Uncle Sam.

You still believe Trump will stop the war? The guy who said he would leave Syria (he didn't), that he would leave Afghanistan (he didn't). He is just a load of hot air.

Trump will be too busy refilling the swamp in DC to stop any wars.

Reminds me of Obama with his claim of getting the US out of Iraq and closing Guantanamo. And people still fall for this routine. Obama even got a Nobel Peace Prize for starting the Arab Spring and turning Libya into the world's largest open air slave market.

On Trump, and it will be my last statement on it, but its important and very cogent to the war.

1. Whenever a Democrat says a derivative of we will not put young American men and women into harm's way to do a job that country X's young men and women should do for themselves, its only a matter of time before American soldiers are deployed to that country. Be it Wilson, be it FDR, be it LBJ, when a Democrat president says American boys will never get in a war the MIC wants, you can be damn sure the boys are coming.

2. Biden and Harris were comforting in that they are only in this for the cash grab. Make the old east bloc nations give Ukraine their old Soviet stocks and then buy overpriced Americans, and meanwhile use Ukraine as the testing range for American weapons. The last thing Biden Harris wanted was direct involvement in the war. Buh, buh, you just said that if a Democrat said. . . . Yeah, I did. Biden-Harris will not commit troops because again this is a get rich quick win over the electorate scam. For Trump? All he knows is grift and brute force. When he talks to Putin on Inauguration Day and tells Putin to withdraw or cease fire and Putin says go pound sand, the speech to the nation about sending American forces to Ukraine will not be far in coming

3. When young American boys, not mercs and ununiformed special forces do it there is at least some plausible deniability but when American boys in American service start killing Russian forces, Putin will have no choice but to hit them and their logistics system. Trump will have no option but to start really bombing and rocketing Russian cities, Putin will do likewise to American cities and then someone will lob a nuke.

The nukes thing isn't going to happen because of some stupid rinky dink 300 km range rocket. However, it will if Trump does not get his way because he is highly unstable and is on record as asking, "why can't we just use nukes."

So do I think Trump changes things for the better? No, no I do not. I hope to God I am wrong, but I ain't seeing it.

The predictions ? But we have a problem now . These American Rockets are few in number ? Short range ? Inconsequential ? Perhaps yes , they are militarily and economically inconsequential . But not politically . What if this drags on for a few weeks or few months or even few years ? Will the Russians feel happy about it ? Already some here say " ...Putin must go ! " So couple this with more terror attacks inside Russia , like latest Music festival incident . Therefore a response is needed now . Will have to deal with Trumpet , as an when needed . If he survived further assassination attempts !
