It is planned to order 12 support vessels in Zelenodolsk for the Russian Navy based on project 03182
According to the Tatarstan business resource "BUSINESS Online" , at the celebrations held on December 18, 2020 in Zelenodolsk on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M. Gorky, Renat Mistakhov, General Director of the Ak Bars shipbuilding corporation created on the basis of the plant, said that the Russian Ministry of Defense intends to order 12 large supply vessels from the Zelenodolsk enterprise, which are a variant of the small sea tanker of project 03182. The lead ship built by Volga Shipyard ( Nizhny Novgorod) small sea tanker "Vice-Admiral Paromov" (serial number 850) project 03182 in Sevastopol, 26.11.2020 (c) A. Brichevsky
Renat Mistakhov, General Director of Ak Bars IC, told BUSINESS Online that the last order will be delivered by the plant in 2024, and this is the end of the construction of warships at the plant (for now). Therefore, in return, it is planned to build 12 large support vessels for the Russian Navy, which are a variant of the small sea tanker of project 03182. It is stated that "the new version of the tanker is somewhat larger and more saturated with all kinds of specific equipment."
From the bmpd side, recallthat the small sea tanker of project 03182 (code "Platform-Arctic") was developed by JSC "Zelenodolsk Design Bureau" (also part of the IC "Ak Bars") as a "multipurpose platform of a vessel of reinforced ice class to provide the concept of Arctic vessels for transportation liquid and dry cargo, discharge cargo and people with the ability to receive helicopter equipment (including unmanned aerial vehicles) and perform rescue operations. " In addition to receiving, storing, transporting and transferring liquid cargo, the tanker of project 03182 is also designed to supply ships and vessels with cargo in drums, boxes, pallets, containers, etc .; collection of bilge, sewage, sewage, dry waste and food waste; patrolling, rescue duty in areas of navigation, fishing, offshore oil and gas fields; search and assistance to ships in distress; technical support in areas hazardous to navigation; servicing transport operations in ports; removal from shoals and reefs of emergency vessels; pumping water from flooded compartments and towing damaged vessels and objects to the place of shelters, including in ice; performing the functions of a fire-fighting vessel.
The project 03182 tanker, ice class Arc4, must have a total displacement of 3500 tons, a deadweight of 1560 dwt, a length of 75 m, a width of 15.4 m, a draft in full load of 5 m and be equipped with an electric power plant with rudder drives. The crew is 24 people with the possibility of accommodating another eight people. The vessel will be equipped with a Ka-27 helicopter runway.
To date, the Russian Ministry of Defense has signed contracts with two shipbuilding enterprises for the construction of four small sea tankers of project 03182, however, the construction of all four ships is being carried out with a significant delay.
The first contract for the construction of two small sea tankers of project 03182 for the Pacific Fleet was signed on September 1, 2014 with Vostochnaya Verf JSC (Vladivostok). The lead under this contract and in the series of this project as a whole, the small sea tanker "Mikhail Barskov" (serial number 9001) was officially laid down at Vostochnaya Verf on October 27, 2015, although the actual construction of the tanker "Mikhail Barskov"was started by the company at the beginning of 2015. The contract deadline for the delivery of the lead vessel was November 2017, but only on August 27, 2019, the tanker was launched and is still under construction. The second tanker of project 03182 "Boris Averkin" (serial number 9002) under this contract was officially laid down at Vostochnaya Verf on February 6, 2018. The contractual deadline for its delivery was the end of 2019; the vessel has not yet been launched.
The contract for the construction of two more small sea tankers of project 03182 for the Black Sea Fleet (home port - Sevastopol), with delivery in 2019 and 2020, was received in 2016 by Volga Shipyard JSC in Nizhny Novgorod, where the first tanker Vice-Admiral Paromov "(serial number 850) was laid down on September 1, 2016 and launched on December 20, 2018. In August-September 2020, the tanker was towed along the inland waterways from Nizhny Novgorod to Sevastopol to the Persey plant, where it is undergoing additional staffing and is preparing for the start of factory sea trials. Apparently, "Vice-Admiral Paromov" will be the first ship of this project, which will enter service (in 2021). The second Nizhny Novgorod tanker Vasily Nikitin (serial number 851) was laid down on March 10, 2017 and has not yet been launched.
Earlier it was reported that in 2015, two tankers of project 03182 were ordered to the Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M. Gorky, however, apparently, the contract was not actually concluded then. That would be 16 in total, not bad
Nice to see some standardization of the fleet finally both combat and logistics, they have been doing boutique production for way too long
And numbers of ships in batches is getting bigger as well, good

This is a photo from the laying down ceremony for Coast Guard boat but in the background you can see Project 1242 Molonya (heavily modified Tarantul) under construction
Any news on those?

Thanks, so the first one coming soon
They should send these two to Caspian Fleet and relocate Gepard-class 'Dagestan' to Black Sea
Dagestan has anti-sub setup but is wasted in Caspian because there aren't any subs there anyway so better to boost Black Sea Fleet with it

More information:
As reported by the PRIME news agency , the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) acquired 82.8% of the Vympel shipyard (Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region), which previously belonged to the Kalashnikov concern, the corporation said. .OIS "Evgeny Goriglezhan" of project 02670 is actually being rebuilt from the MB-305 sea tugboat B-92 of Polish construction in 1983, the main task of the rebuilt vessel will be "carrying out underwater technical work." The formal laying (actually re-laying) of the vessel "Evgeny Goriglezhan" was carried out at the Yantar shipyard on March 19, 2016, while the date of delivery was then called 2017. The re-equipment project was developed by Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau (St. Petersburg). The displacement of the vessel after re-equipment should be 4 thousand tons, length - 81 m, width - 16 m, autonomy - 30 days, crew - 32 people and 25 members of the expedition.
In November 2018, work on the re-equipment of the vessel was suspended, and in October 2019, the vessel was launched for the first time without much publicity - apparently, with the aim of freeing the slipways at the Yantar shipyard. It was reported that throughout 2019, negotiations were conducted and issues were resolved with the customer (GUGI) on the further execution of the state contract. The result of these negotiations was the signing on January 31, 2020 of an additional agreement on the extension of the contract, according to the terms of which the OIC "Evgeny Goriglezhan" must transfer the plant to the customer at the end of March 2021. However, according to the latest reports, the actual date of delivery of the vessel is already called November 2021.
Work at the OIS "Evgeny Goriglezhan" was resumedin February 2020, after which in the spring the ship was again raised on the slipway. Now the vessel "Yevgeniy Gorigledzhan" has been re-launched and has already been officially launched for completion

So I guess if they are completing the ships then they must have decided to develop a replacement engine for themselves.
It started out as a German engine bought from Germany, but their sanctions meant they had to go for Chinese copies of the German engines, but they were found to be unreliable...
I guess they have decided to make their own replacement engines to replace the Chinese models...
That will take a bit of time because the endurance testing can take a while... but engines that size would be useful.

Vostochnaya Verf completed the construction of the sixth Project 21980 Grachonok anti-sabotage boat for the Pacific Fleet. The acceptance commission of the RF Ministry of Defense signed the acceptance act on December 29, 2020. During the state tests, the commission made sure that the ship complied with the requirements of the state contract, the press service of Vostochnaya Verf JSC reports. The developer of the project is Vympel Design Bureau (Nizhny Novgorod). The main purpose of the boats of the "Grachonok" type is the fight against sabotage and terrorist forces and assets in the waters of the naval bases. The length and width of the boat is 31 and 7.4 meters, respectively. Displacement - 138 tons, speed - 24 knots. "Grachata" are designed to protect water areas and fight underwater saboteurs. They are equipped with a pressure chamber, a remote-controlled unmanned underwater vehicle "Marlin-350" with a search and research complex "Kalmar", recalls the military-technical cooperation "Bastion". - The construction of the boat has become another labor feat for the team of our enterprise. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, freezing rains and other surprises of nature, the ship was delivered on time. This is an excellent New Year's gift for both the shipyard employees and the Pacific Fleet, - said Sergey Bakanev, General Director of Vostochnaya Verf JSC. In total, the company has built 6 boats of this project. Vostochnaya Verf is the only supplier of Project 21980 boats in the Far East. In the whole country, such boats are built by only three shipbuilding enterprises, and the Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M. Gorky "in Tatarstan and the Vympel shipyard in Rybinsk. In addition to the Navy, boats of this type are currently being built for the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. In total, more than 20 boats of the project 21980 "Grachonok" were built.

Boy, people complain about 14 days isolation for Covid... those divers isolate for 10 days on every exercise they go on to be pressurised to dive immediately with ten days of decompression after the end of the exercise... on every exercise so they are always ready to go...

Wow is that Putins new yacht!! Beautiful ship. I have been checking out some of these small Russian patrol boats. Just the little Sobol class with a 14.5 wow the beat down that little boar can deliver. I bet just 2-3 of these on permanant based patrol with some small drones would end the Somali pirate problem. 14.5 mm is a fearsome weapon.

The Northern Fleet tanker "Vyazma" will provide a long-distance cruise of the frigate "Admiral of the Kasatonov Fleet" in the Mediterranean Sea
The medium sea tanker "Vyazma" will provide the actions of the frigate "Admiral of the Kasatonov Fleet" in a long-distance campaign. A few days ago, the tanker entered the Mediterranean Sea through the Strait of Gibraltar and headed for a rendezvous with the frigate and the rescue tug Nikolai Chiker.
The Vyazma medium sea tanker is a regular participant in the long-distance campaigns of the surface forces of the Northern Fleet. The ship has a supply of fuel, fresh water and food, sufficient to provide a detachment of ships and vessels for several months.
On board the tanker, in addition to the regular civilian crew, there is a group of marines with weapons to ensure the safety of the vessel flying the flag of the auxiliary fleet of the Russian Navy.
In the Mediterranean Sea, the tanker "Vyazma" will make business calls to the ports of a number of coastal states.
https://function.mil.ru/news_page/country/more.htm?id=12343558@egNews
NOTE: have not seen mention of this for awhile but apparently most Russian auxiliary support ships employ civilian crews to the amount of several thousands. Had read that some command positions were Navy but not sure of that divide. Believe the USN is similar.
