However, it is reported from multiple residents of Kotovsk, almost on the border of Transnistria, https://maps.yandex.ru/?ll=29.556557%2C47.741481&z=11&l=map that ukrops seem to be making war preperations. An influx of troops is reported within the last week and heading towards the border, that convoys of covered trucks have been seen driving about and on early morning of 26 May at Kotovsk railway station tanks of unspecified type, MSTA-S and badly disguised BUK were unloaded. It is reported by other residents that medical officers had been at Kotovsk hospital and were clearly judging it's capabilities and even measuring wards to see now many extra beds could be fitted in. This may be all imagination or not, interesting if true.

And America then will have it's European war.

IF the Ukraine attacks Pridnestrovie, it will receive such fking pizdy, that it can't even be imagined.

Pridnestrovie is garrisoned with Russian peacekeepers; who are regulars of the Russian armed forces. If they're attacked, Russia can and will respond with military force.

The same reaction if they target a Russian troop transport on its way over Ukrainian airspace. Which is probably what those BUKs and S-300Ps are for. But it won't help them; will just result in the annihilation of Ukrainian forces in the region and a drastic escelation of the conflict.

And we know they will do it, as they have already done the same in Georgia.

I think Maidan is testing the waters. If Maidan attacks Transnistria and Russia offers no response, then Maidan would attack Donbas.

Umm, if Maidan attacks Transnistria, the response will be far harsher (and very much official) than any response that the Maidan will get (and has been getting) for attacking the Donbass, which is de-jure Ukrainian territory.

Hmmm. Two front war, surging east from Transnistria and west from Novorossiya.

Or, Maidan could be warning Russia. If Russia sends troops to help Donbas when Maidan launches attack on Donbas, then Maidan and Moldova would pincer invade Transnistria. This way, Maidan can take Donbas without Russia interfering.

However, methinks Maidan underestimates Russian resolve. The Russian air force based in Sevastopol can blow Maidan out of the water.

Then they would play with fire (literally) not only with fully geared Russian troops but also with completely losing US/EU support. The Europeans said they are afraid of a regional conflict on the European mainland. Well let's see what their reaction will be when the regime they support, starts a full blown aggression against an innocent country.

Moldova has an Army of 3,250 and 0 tanks. Against 1500 Russian soldiers and a reported 4500 Transnistrers with 70 tanks. Ukraine would have to do the fighting. By the way 29% of the population are Ukrainians.

Sorry guys but even kiev isnt retarded enough to attack transnistria.

Porky may be full of lies, hypocrisy, double standards and may be useless as a leader but he isnt a buffoon. I dont think he is preparing to become a tie eater mark 2.

The idea of him and his cronies is to cling onto power as long as possible to fleece ukraine for everything they can. He knows eventually his kind will be forced out so he will make the most of the time he has, theres no way he will throw it all away instantly by doing something so stupid.

If glasses bastard was the president though, i dread to think what he would have done. Probably we would see Zakharchenko doing w victory parade on the maidan by now.

It's not like those Ukrainians with non-Ukrainian passports aren't pissed by Kiev's crackdown on smuggling to welcome UAF with open arms.

It's not a secret that the Odessa-Tiraspol businessmen caste is not fond of Maidan and that has attracted Kiev's attention so the use of force to eliminate competition is not that out of the picture although very unlikely.

I truthfully agree, there is no way that Porky's Western handlers would want to give Russia a legitimate reason to burn down the entire country. Besides, there is no knowing how Moldova would react as they themselves are very torn between Russia and the EU mostly represented by Romania there. After Debaltsevo, I would have trouble believing that Poroshenko isn't rightfully afraid of the rebels and he would know that the Russian Military is a whole different animal.

More like the entire Russian Military.

Two shots, if the first try goes south, then the entire Russian military will unleash its full potential on those poor bastards. Or if Ukraine somehow gets a second shot, then a "hurricane" from the East will rain fire and blow the rebels to the Golden Gate of Kiev if not further.

Thats more more plausable. Porky may try to enforce a blockade of transistria, and when russia flies into ukrainian airspace, he can play the 'russian aggression' card and shoot it down. That would force russia to escalate and with it bring more western money and support to kiev, with more sanctions against russia.

It still seems a tad far fetched though and extremely risky for porky but its much more plausable than kiev carrying out an unprovoked attack on transistria. In this situation ukraine can play the victim card whilst shooting down a russian aircraft.

Ps, when i say its far fetched, a lot of stuff has occured over the past year that i wouldnt have predicted in a million years, so i guess i shouldnt close my mind to anything in this war.

State Border Service said the military threat from the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic.

In an interview with "Channel 5" said the chairman of the State Border Service Viktor Nazarenko.

"The threat from Transnistria is both military and, say, technology-border ... We believe that this area is threatening about border security," - he said.

This Nazarenko emphasized that the military threat in this part of the frontier is much smaller than the eastern frontier.

Much more significant is the problem for border smuggling from Transnistria food and illegal activities of local residents.
