From todays military live fire exercise on Pešter, freshly returned to service Praga M53/59 AA gun. Those were retired after NATO bombing and just recently returned into service, 48 of them and are attached in batteries of 6 per each of 8 mechanised batallions.

in reality these are really only good for fire support for ground troops, as for AA its very limited it would have to be very lucky and aiming at stationary target, but as ground support it could be lethal

These actually kept US gunship helicopters at bay over Kosovo in 1999. Yugoslavia performed on about half of its inventory update during 80s, and another more radical update was planned for 90s, however never happened due to civil war.
During 90s those were mostly used in ground support role where they proved to be effective beyond imagination. They are however still effective in AA role aganist helicopters, UAVs, low flying aircraft...
These 48 that got returned into service are to be used in ground support role from what i could figure.

And all work on it has been frozen as of now due to lack of funds and issues with missile flight stability.

NORA B52 M15 self propelled artillery in action :
Question to those who know more about this weapon system :
Can anyone tell me what is the thing i highlighted below next to the main gun. Is it part of the main weapon, or is it a co-axial mounted cannon?
If it is in fact a co-axial weapon system, what is it?
I don't remember seeing this on other variants of the weapon system. Any info appreciated.

Re: Serbian army multimedia
If it was an anti tank gun that would be a spotting rifle, but it really does not make sense to have a spotting rifle on artillery, or a coaxial machine gun or light cannon unless they want it for air defence from helos.
The elevation of an artillery piece would allow tracking aircraft due to its high elevation performance... but if enemy aircraft get within 20mm cannon range of the vehicle then you are in trouble... and the poor armour on most artillery vehicles means enemy troops nearby would be fatal and a coaxial MG or light cannon would not change that.
Maybe they are using it as HE artillery... sort of 4-5km range like a 40mm grenade launcher with HE rounds delivered out to ballistic ranges... still sounds rather weird.
