Let's see here...the bottom photo is an 'up-armored' version, with extra applique armor attached to the sides of the troop compartment, as well as an increased amount of protective lining for the the windows on the sides?

Islamic State has released footage of a tank kill which they say took place on 9 July 2015.
The pictures seem to show that the Russian-made Kornet-E missile easily shreds the US-made Abrams tank.
Missile was obtained by simply looting an inventory of the regular Iraqi Army.

Excellent photos PapaDragon! Saved them all. The Su-27 family are all quite large, very impressive how an object that size can pull some very agile maneuvers while there are plenty of other fighter aircraft that are about half the size and cannot pull the same feats.PapaDragon wrote:I just noticed now that those birds are HUGE!
