There is now American-Russian talks in a neighboring country ,and SAA-SDF talks in Haskah city... both not going well so far

Ongoing negotiations to set the lines between the SDF and SAA, if negotiations failed a conflict will break out once ISIS is defeated

There is no time limits for the SAA-SDF negotiations and it been going on for days now

According to my source the SAA and SDF didn't agree on any point what so ever so far ... 0 progress

My source told me that the SAA-SDF negotiations in Haskah city are "catastrophic"

From what I heard I can say the situation between the SDF and SAA is far, way far worse than what people think

I hadn't spotted that these negotiations, as opposed to meetings on specific topics, were currently underway so perhaps I was looking in the wrong place or they have been going on for a long time.

Without wanting to start a circular discussion I can't remember much comment here either way about the SDF and in particular the Kurds rolling over. As you say, given the investment in blood that they have made, it is a bit unlikely. My own view, as expressed in an earlier post, is that it will only happen in the event of Coalition air cover being removed.

So regarding the bombing or shelling of the SDF around the Conoco gas plant, we now have:

    - RuAF saying 'not us'

    - SAA saying 'yes it was us'

    - ISIS now saying ' definitely us here is the picture of a Grad firing'. https://twitter.com/rofoca_lucifuge/status/912436942918189056

Whilst on the other side we have

    Lucifuge Rofocale‏ @rofoca_lucifuge

SDF statement strongly condemning attacks by RuAF/SyAAF on SDF forces NE Deir Ezzor. Number of fighters killed at Textile factory and Conico

With a proper full blown pontoon bridge now in place (see other thread for details) the situation has now potentially changed dramatically on the east bank.

As it is probable that much of the equipment used to take Deir is still in the area, this means that the SDF will be facing an opponent with lots of proper gear, tanks etc for pretty much the first time.

Mmmm SAA tank versus SDF MRAP after the same ISIS group or empty desert?

Coalition vs RuAF rushing to be first to hit what might be the same ISIS target!

This is no longer the situation that the SDF faced when it came over the river using the dam at al-Tabqa. Now it is up against a better trained and bigger SAA brimming with confidence and with very real targets, the oil fields and the border.

#Syria #SDF took over strategic al-Shuwar town at Khabur river ~50km north east of #DeirEzZor city & ~55km form #Iraq border

I think I would lay money on the bridge over the river in Shuwar to have somehow been overlooked by the Coalition AFs and still be standing Shocked

Expect the SDF to sweep south towards the oil fields, outflanking the SAA who will be bogged down on their route with the bridge (if it is still standing) that would if it was, be their objective maybe about to be mysteriously blown if still up.

I get the feeling that currently the SDF is relatively weak at DeZ....they make a lot of noise about capturing this and that but I doubt they can really hold much. Reportedly they are mainly some Arab tribesmen who recently switched sides.

There is even no air support for them. No real fighting till this moment.

Abu Halwa still not getting any US air support although he's allegedly taking heavy fire @ Suwar. Only 1 DeZ airstrike Sept 23-24.

    ITS CONFIRMED FOLKS

The interviewee, Mohammed Moussa al-Shawwakh, says that his group, tasked with defending the area around the Conoco Gas Fields, was ordered to allow Kurdish forces to enter the strategic site. The order, he says, came from a top regional emir (leader) called Abu Zaid.

The ISIS fighter’s confession goes on to mention that Kurdish-led forces were also allowed to enter other gas and oil fields in the region in order to make propaganda videos.

Mohammed finishes the interview by saying that he knows for a fact that the US is attempting to establish an alliance between Kurdish forces and ISIS in Deir Ezzor province in order to undermine government-led military efforts to liberate the region.

I have lost all sympathies for the kurds. The ridiculous part of this whole thing is that you will still get the whole "SDF has contributed to fighting ISIS the most out of all in Syria!!" from western starbucks socialists and Bernouts no matter what evidence you show them, meanwhile believing and "nazi baathists" cooperate with ISIS.

Syrian Foreign Minister: US supports ISIS, Kurdish autonomy negotiable

Could be related to the negotiations mentioned earlier. I think in the end the kurds will have no option but to accept semi autonomy which is better than nothing and everyone is a winner (apart from Usa and Israel )

The more this drags the more I come to terms that all big powers support this behind the scenes - including Russia. It's all coming down to how much blood Turkey is willing to sacrifice to stop the madness on its borders - got played hard. If Turkey chickens out and misreads this, they'll get hit, tomorrow, or in 10 years.....

Seems to be turning out to be a really bad day for SAA reports of 100+ killed 4 tanks destroyed but nothing confirmed. But you will probably find it was NDF defending the areas this goes back to the two major problems plaguing them manpower and training for NDF. The regular SAA surely have gained experience in this long war and they haven't then I am sure they are no longer here.

This probably wouldn't have happened if they had closed the central syrian pocket quicker freeing up vital troops to reinforce there front line. Like I've said before they should have closed up pockets/salient such as Beit Jinn long ago I think they have restarted the offensive there this week it's estimated that around 3-4,000 are tied up there. And yamouk area south of damascus city should have been taken another 3-5,000 estimated troops there. Also a reconciliation agreementshould have been made in al dumayr area freeing up more troops am sure the fsa there being hopelessly surrounded and abandoned by Usa sponsored scum based at al tanf and have shown in the past to fight in agreement with SAA against Isis

But it's such a big area to protect in Deir etc. And with the race down the euphrates I guess they were simply overstretched. Let's hope the counter offensive goes well and many Isis are killed. As Isis don't have the means to hold this ground

And also the 45 troops blown up in damascus the SAA are having a tough day.

And the report of Russian servicemen being captured turns out to be false
