Well, not really. When it comes down to equipment, surely, imports kills the industry. At least Patria is produced locally, though it is not country design.
But you don't need tanks, artillery and airforce to beat even ones of the best equipped armies in the world, do you? Take a Houthis for example...
You could tell back in 1410 that Commonwealth will beat Teutons in one of the biggest medieval cavalry battle, all would laught you off. Biggest mistake Teutons made is that they didn't expected war and were caught off guard.
Anyway, I don't see a hope for Poland in this shape and form. Most Poles are more afraid of unpredictable Germany than any "eastern invasion', even though Germans are more liberal right now than at any point in their history.
EU is really on the crossroads now and it is disintegrating at faster pace than I've could imagine. There are going to be harder times for country, policy will change dozens of times in next decade I guess..
