Let the deaths of the Russian servicemen in Syria not be in vain. Take back Idlib province from salafists.

STFU you mental flipfloper
"leave assad, give more support, nuke them, run out of syria, increase the troops in syria, dont give them anything, send 10.000 tanks, leave idlib, take back idlib"

It is possible. They were flying at night and could have collided with a structure as article states.

I'd like to see Russia give more aerial support at the southern Aleppo front which is the most important one.

RIP for the crew. Unfortunately, accidents happen, I'd say Russia's been lucky so far.

Whoa, that is a lot of crashed birds, I thought that number was in low double digits at most...

The accident rate for helicopters is much higher than for fighter jets and we are seeing these statistics
in action. Russia did not lose any combat aircraft not counting the shoot down by Turdkey over the past seven
months. It is going to be losing helicopters over the same period of time.
Also, the Mi-28 appears to have technical issues and is suffering from a higher accident rate than the
Mi-24 and Mi-35.

Surprisingly the Iraquis Mi-28 have no major issues? or are there any reports of Mi-28s
shut down or crashed by accident in IRAQ?

no crashes, either by accident or enemy action of any iraqi Mi28s...
On the other hand 1 or 2 Mi35M has been shot down and one crashed in an accident.
but the Mi35s have much higher servicability rate than the Mi28s... so its not a fair comparison since they fly so much more than the Mi28s.

Sad news! R.I.P. to both heroes.
It seems to be an accident, otherwise the jihadiscum would claim it as their shot.

The Hind family have had decades of finalizing, easily becoming the most reliable gunships in the world, probably not fair to compare it to Mi-28 that has only really been looked after in the past 10-15 years.

Plus it was Mi-28N not Mi-28NE, which means it was definitely less fine-tuned compared to the modern Mi-28NE.

Looks like the Syrian Express is back to fully loaded. Not seen 150 Saratov loaded up like this for months. Looks like lots of fairly light weight stuff on board as she is not as deep in the water as normal.

Sanis have been around (on both sides) even before Putin went all Polite. But the Fagot M with Russian markings, means polite people are bringing their stuff.
Also, outrage, they're using Schmidt & Bender optics too! Pm2 3-16x50.
Edit correction.
