In Syria exist thousands of rebel groups, if a few big breaks the ceasefire, then it does not mean the smaller groups are not interested in peace. Only a political solution is possible, militants will never die! Reconciliation is the future for syria and the biggest success for Russia was not Palmyra or Latakia province, it was the beginning of the peace process.

Then why didn't Stalin negotiate with Hitler? No one can negotiate with jihadists. They are not afraid of death. They are not Ukrainian soldiers.

Russia says will not help SAA take territory in Aleppo province because Russia will not have confrontation with the West and Turkey and the Gulf states.

They had MANPAD-s whole time in quite significant numbers. Croatia literally depleted own Strela-2M stocks by selling them via NATO to FSA. And we are here talking about hundreds.

It is necessary to stress that assault of Aleppo is not being planned.

An Mil Mi-28N Night Hunter attack helicopter has crashed in Syria while performing a flight near the city of Homs, the Defense Ministry’s press-service reports. The ministry says the helicopter was not shot down.
