I think Iran and Russia need to give people mosquito and fly netting for houses in summer. And dry up all still water ponds. Source of mosquito larvae. Since corona can be carried by fly or insect. I think if fly can carry bacteria, then corona is smaller and can get ride on fly. Summer may be difficult time in city full of flies. Is Corona bigger or smaller than say E - coli?

Agree. Prevention possible. Cheap insect nets DIY now available for window and doors. Also for septic tanks, where flies can go in and come out, or Beetles. That may carry virus out of waste. Then again simple blockage with fine wire mesh, held in place with few bricks. I also started to disinfect all grocery items brought into house, by wiping down with small cloth, soaked with disinfectant. Make a bucket, ready for action. Very cheap.

UK are dickheads. They know since a month or so they will face the same situation because the virus affected Germany, France, Spain and Italy. It was at their door and did nothing...

They should take the salaries from the gov to buy stuff and fire all of them.

That's not the point. Even young people are being affected with COVID19. Northern Italy has direct flights to Wuhan. 100,000 Chinese live in Northern Italy. They are the ones who brought this disease to Italy.

In the absence of a cure. Then social distancing only prolongs the pain. There is a simple logic. The virus kills the old. Not the young. The young survive without the old. The old do not survive without the young. If the young maintain social distancing and do not work, then both the young and the old will die. But if they go to work, then they will survive and the old will die. Therefore it is better for the young to survive and the old to die, than everybody dies. Therefore there should be no social distancing, if there is no cure quickly.

If some countries are left behind in health care, by poverty or sanctions. Then the net result is that the virus spreads to all. The countries suffering most now, will suffer the least later.

Most of the countries have enough money to pay wages people who are in quarantine, production can still happen under such conditions. Stopped consumerism is not the end of the world. Generations before us survived even more hardships.

I didn't mean bringing the disease there , i meant the corona PK is high there because the elders have a little chance to survive if they got infected .

Yes we have to protect the weak. But what are the weak?  It is those ( species) that are diminishing in number. Including the human species. If  helping the unproductive section of society, like the elderly survive at the expense of the productive section of society ( biology and labour both ) , then human species will diminish in number. It becomes weak. Perhaps, from overall point of view, humans have over populated and destroyed the great number of other species. And natural justice would have it, that there should be the greatest variety of species, with the greatest number. Despite mass extinctions, and mono - cultures of life on Earth at times. CNN said it so it must be true lol!   Just like how Trump said the economy was going to be great in 2020, family doctors can say your daughter is clean, while all the diplomats after meeting her end up catching Corona...nothing to see here move along.
