The SAA is losing more and more ground now combined with this the damage the Turks did really messed them up.

As I said unless Russia fully commits, Idlib is fully lost to Assad. SAA is no match for Turks/Rebels combined
Russia is doing NOTHING, not even a single word of condemnation against Turkey!

SAA will lose this war, because SAA is not allowed to strike Turkish Forces direct! Makes no sense!!! Turkish Forces acts likes Saints at moment, they are punching SAA very hard, but SAA strikes only advancing HTS, not the observation points.

Does anybody believe HTS will stop in Idlib? Does anyone believe that Erdogan keeps his commitments??? Really? Like he fulfilled his commitments from Astana and Sochi? Does anybody believe Hmeimim and Tartus is safe with Erdogan?

Maybe it's a tactic, to have enough bad and sad pictures against Erdos troops. HTS and TSK are commiting war crimes in occupied territories.

Russia will most probably avoid direct confrontation with Turkey or USA or Usrael in Syria. They have shown this to be true, over past few years. They have however supported the Syrians with support, to defend against  Islamist extremists in the west. Since they suffer from this problem also in Russia. And they would like to maintain their bases in Syria. For geopolitical reasons. However they have defacto agreed with the Americans over partition of Syria into East / West regions. This policy does not bring territorial integrity to Syria. Neither can they protect fully Syria. Even west Syria against Usrael attacks. Simply by pure defensive measures of intercepting some missiles. Russia is also limited in political and economic sphere, since their national interests also included their natural desire to maintain economic relations with the west. So even if they can supply Syria through Iran. Rather than through Turkey. They will still avoid major or direct fight with Turkey. So we have to accept the help from Russia and not expect too much from them.

I can say the same for all outside powers now involved in Syria. They all share the same fate. Their national interests will not allow major or direct involvement in Syria. It is simply the nature of the beast. No good shouting that country A or B or C, SHOULD, do this or that or other. The reality on the ground is different.

As I said, the only people that are willing to live and die in Syria and for Syria. Are the Syrians themselves. All those Syrians, who are firstly Syrian, than Shia or Kurd or Druze or Christian or Sunni. To unite and fight for Syria. So Syrians should look to Syrians. In this war, there are some extremists left in IDLIB. How many fighters do they have? Forget for now about Turk. I doubt they will die in large numbers for Syria. Same as other foreign forces. Do the extremists have 40,000 troops?  Then the SAA, to liberate west Syria needs to give at least 40,000 martyrs. Yes ugly it is. Difficult to accept. But no other way. Must now gather forces and continue with advancing North. If Russia and Iran simply provide logistic and support. And SAA use clever tactics. And ready for sacrifices. Then victory is near.

Bullshit! According to situation now no victory is near. SAA has lost 15 villages and towns in less than 10 hours. HTS is working free, covered by Turkish Forces and SAA is not striking Turkish Forces or not allowed to strike them. They can easy take the Turks in observation posts as hostages, but Turks are now acting like Saints....nobody wants to touch them. Even drones are acting free over Idlib...only a few and in rare cases, but it's true.

And the funny thing is...Russia is attacked every single day by Turkey direct! HTS and TFSA are commanded by Turkey direct and they attacked Hmeimim thousand times, turkish officers fired with Manpads at russian planes...if Erdo aquires the Patriot System he will shoot out the russian planes from sky. And Russia is acting like not involved with Turkey??? Wow that's naive!

It could be bullshit. You are right. Maybe SAA will loose. And Syria permanently partitioned and occupied and at war. And with Takfiri terrorists having birthday party for Erdo and gang in IDLIB. Or maybe it is not bullshit. And Syria will unite and win war against extremism and interventionist. Only time will tell.

Turkish drones fly as they want, they bomb SAA. Where is Syria's anti-aircraft defense that has stopped the US missile missile attack from France and GB? and stopped Israel's air strikes.

Turks have around 25 drones of the Anka class. So yeah those are heavy losses. Still even if they down all the drones that won't change the war, it would affect Turks capabilities yeah.

On a different note about all the negative things said in the past two days..

I am sure it will end up positively. I would like to compare it to a traditional japonese theater drama (Kabuki).

We are at the end of the third act of this play.

In kabuki drama there is always drama or tragedy at the end of the third act.

There will be later a big battle to conclude the 4th act and the final act is shorter and provides a satisfying conclusion for the protagonists.

So it is ok if the bad guys are winning at the end of the third act, let's let them have this small satisfaction.

to those screaming. . howwww dareeee russia allow to get SAA destroyed.. omg!!!
look those videos released by the godfather of alqaeda erdogan.. they killed so many.. omg..
Erdogan claimed 2,000 syrian soldiers killed.. or something like that .. in the drone attack.. Rolling Eyes
omg.. how russia allows erdogan drones to freely attack SAA..  Rolling Eyes

    from @
    ThylacineONLINE#310854 post at syrian perspective..
from the syrian arab army page..

    Syrian Arab Army

One picture is enough to discredit all of the Turkish claimed drone footage.
This is a picture from a footage which was released yesterday claiming a Turkish strike took out a Syrian Pantsir-S1 system. However, those who made the claim forgot that Syrian Pantsir-S1 systems are on 8×8 Truck KAMAZ-6560 TLAR which are significantly shorter than the German MAN.
In this picture is actually a UAE Pantsir-S1 is built on German MAN SX 45 8×8 truck destroyed by a strike in Libya.
The million dollar question here, what else did the Turks include from Libya and other places and claimed are from their operations in Syria?!
As we said before, the footage and the numbers are extremely overrated; and that the Turkish side is using the “Fog of War” to further create a fake victory in Syria.
    We always say, on this page we can prove everything we share as long as we say it is confirmed;

sometimes the proof is kept hidden for the sensitivity of information, but in most cases it would be only a matter of hours before something comes up that proves what we share.
    #Operation_Redemption
    Syrian Arab Army [FB]
[The picture (which I despair of posting on these pages) shows the Pantsir targeted by alleged Turk drones]

here is the proof turkey lied about the attacks video, the patsir strike  is from UAE in lybia ,using a german truck
not like the ones of syrian army..

    http://charly015.blogspot.com/2020/02/que-tendra-el-pantsir-cuando-lo-bendicen.html

no idea why anyone surprised.. he have been inflating the damages on SAA since day one..

So there you have it.. syrian army says erdogan videos are extremely exagerated and contain footage
not from syria ... and more than one.. it will be easy to compile videos since 2011 the war began ,
of turkey army attacks when russia was not in syria and later claim it was in 2020 in a "REvenge".

So basically after the wipe of Turkey soldiers.. up to 100 killed and wounded.. in just one strike..
It seems that Erdogan was furious with his generals for allowing such a thing to happen and demanding full scale revenge from his military..or else they will be shot..  lol1

So the turkey generals came up with the idea of fooling their own boss Erdogan with fake videos ,that were from lybia and from other old incidents.. in the past 9 years.. and they presented it to Erdogan as their response..  lol1  to calm down his boss and so that Erdogan can save face of that major embarrassment.. to his people.  Smile

potential zones vulnerable to drones are kurdish zones.. russia don't have lots of defenses there..
and also eastern syrian desert close to iraq border are other.. and close to israel are other areas vulnerable.
just yesterday israel attack a syrian army position in golan heights.. and such videos could be given to
turkey military to score points. with his boss.. the drone attack .more than anything was a very good
    twitter victory....  lol1
So the amateurs in this forum were duped by old tricks that usually comes from the pentagon information
warfare book.. and total hysteria happened across the internet.. the biggest casualties did happened.but
in social media fake reports..  Wink   probably only a dozen of SAA /hezbolah/kurdz  were killed in one attack close to turkey border..  the more close to turkey border ,the more dangerous is to protect themselves.  in wars disinformation is part of it.. and it could happen from both sides..  Turkey will exaggerate their victories.. for public relations and please their supporters..
and Russia will usually keep silence ,when a claim is done by erdogan of "major victories".. why Russia did
not exposed the fake of the videos? of pantsir destroyed? because what they were going to win with that?
if russia deny it.. erdogan will be even angrier and more humiliated ,because he will look like a fool to his people,
that even his generals lie to him.. and so for russia is better let erdogan think that he is "winning" as long reality in the ground is different it will not matter. retreats are not always defeats.. and advances are not always victories.. it all depends on who lose more .. this is what matters.. territory can be recaptured.. but a life can't be returned. if the SAA can hold.. even if they retreat a bit and go back and forth.. as long they continue fighting
without much casualties.. and inflicting massive casualties on turkey side for every inch of territory they capture , then SAA will still be in the game..

One year ago there were around 40 - 50.000 headchoppers in Idlib. Some of them survivors of intensive battles in other areas of Syria. Idlib was the first region to fall into their hands. They had years to build fortifications and stockpile weapons and ammunition, prepare roads and buildings with IED´s and so on.
We all agreed back then that this would be the hardest battle in the war. With the SAA liberating villages and loosing them again, like in every other region of Syria. I would have never thought that they could liberate nearly half of Idlib in a few weeks, but they did it. Now they´ve lost 10% of their gains because a NATO state openly sided with Al-Kaida and Daesh!
But that doesn´t mean they lost the battle or the war like some in these forum get not tired to tell everybody. For all there efforts the Turks gained not very much, except for their gigantic victories at Twitter. Typical western propaganda BS. One of your drones hit something? Make everybody believe it were 10 drones that hit 10 targets.
The SAA learned to retreat after they lost huge numbers of soldiers and equipment unnecessarily in the first years of the conflict because they declared every small village to a fortress and fought for it until the last men died.

Yes that's true. It's only a small group and no danger to Syria, but annoying too.
