Russia is preparing a meeting between Erdogan and Putin at 5th March (source sputnik turkey). So we will see likely no russian interference in fighting between Syria and turkish invaders, till this date. By the the way...sputnik journalists in Turkey are free now.
I can't imagine how a deal between Turkey and Russia should look like??? Turkey breached every deal every signed in the last years.
I can understand Russia, they want to calm down things and that's definitely possible after a few days. But Russia lost today a lot of credibility in world, as an ally and as producer for weapon technology. I don't know if the gains in business with Turkey will be higher, than the losses on other side. Maybe Iranians or Syrians pissed Russians off, that's very likely...but Russia supported the offensive in Idlib and now SAA is suffering, as a direct result of the offensive supported by Russia.
Good news are that turkish army lost the momentum of war. SAA air defence is hot and ready now, they shot 6 turkish UAV's down. No F-16 entered air space. The loss of 2 Su-24 was bad, but no problem at all. South Idlib is a bit critical, in Saraqib SAA is advancing, despite heavy turkish attacks.
