No need to improve if it works.
Make more kh-101 than AD missiles is the key to win a war.

The PIC production starts in 2024 and ROFAR works on PICs, Now of course they did say they had aircraft version prototypes meaning those prototypes had to have PICs in order to function and the 2nd Su-57 phase supposedly has new avionics where the test phase end in 2024 with the new engines. PICs are even highly recommended for 6G wireless networks because the higher the frequency the faster the data transfer. millimeter wave radars on PICs operate 100 times better in performance than millimeter wave radars on MMICs, I even hope the production numbers on PICs would be big enough to supply 100s of Hermes MLRS systems with 100s of those missiles millimeter radar homing heads.

The volume of deliveries of the fifth generation Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces will increase in 2023
UAC enterprises fulfilling the state defense order, thanks to state support, received a significant amount of funds under the program of technical re-equipment and modernization of production, said Yury Slyusar, General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation
MOSCOW, 23 June. /TASS/. The volume of deliveries to the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of Russia of the fifth generation Su-57 fighters will be increased in 2023, Yury Slyusar, General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), said on Friday.
"We will continue to fulfill our obligations under the concluded contracts. Su-35 aircraft of the following batches are in production. In addition, this year the volume of deliveries of the fifth generation Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces will increase," said the head of the UAC, quoted by the press. government service.
As Slyusar noted, UAC enterprises that fulfill the state defense order received a significant amount of funds through the program of technical re-equipment and modernization of production thanks to state support. They put into operation new production facilities and facilities, which allows increasing serial production and increasing production volumes.

Re: Su-57 Stealth Fighter: News #8
The new and powerful Russian Su-57 fighter capable of performing a big, Miss, combat with its impressive armament, says the American magazine Military Watch.
"The weapons on board the fighter are impressive and the aircraft is compatible with a wider range of weapons than any other aircraft of its generation," the article states.
The Su-57's use of stealth technology during the Ukrainian conflict allowed it to carry out far more complex combat missions than any other stealth aircraft in the world has ever done.
The Su-57 is a Russian fifth-generation multirole fighter developed by the Sukhoi company.
The aircraft is designed to destroy all types of air, ground and surface targets.
The fighter has supersonic cruising speed, intra-fuselage armament, radio wave absorbing coating, as well as the latest set of onboard equipment.

Re: Su-57 Stealth Fighter: News #8
Presumably both would have the same engine, but different performance requirements... for instance the Su-57 needs to supercruise and fly quite a bit at supersonic speeds which might make this more stealthy nozzle less useful, but the subsonic only S-70 might use it so it can fly deeper into enemy or contested airspace with a more stealthy rear end.

For F22 RCS is from 0.3-0.4m², similar to the Su 57s....

Re: Su-57 Stealth Fighter: News #8
The Su-57 has a shorter body and way smaller tail. It likely has smaller RCS on the side than the F-22.
Claims of Su-57 having worse frontal RCS are due to engine blades being more exposed on that design and the IRST being round shaped.
The US does not even have proper IRST on either the F-22 or F-35 which means those fighters are totally dependent on radar for targeting opposing aircraft at medium distances.
The AL-41F1 engine uses coatings to reduce frontal RCS. Russia is also working on adding composite fan blades and other RCS reducing features to the Izdeliye 30. Sukhoi explicitly chose this design instead of using S-ducts to hide the fan blades like in the F-22 and F-35 because that comes at a significant performance penalty in terms of speed and overall aerodynamic efficiency.

Yes, Russians did serious studies on the F-22 years back, and what is interesting, so did the Chinese and the results are almost identical, and far from the bloated 0,0001m2!

Thanks, and I have to agree with you, since they have erased some very insightful posts of mine, but I guess that is part of Western democracy, I was also banned from the F-16.net Forum for stating the facts. I guess they don't like to be challenged

The cool thing is when they start exporting them and the west either comes up against them or gets their hands on them and realises how much super new technology Russia must have stolen from the west to be able to make them this good.
Even more amazing they stole scramjet technology from the west and even made it work so they have hypersonic missiles when the west does not.
