I agree. The clown president basically declared war on donbas. Here is what he said.

“We learned to contain external threats. It is time we begin offensive actions aimed at securing our national interests. Our citizens are united in wanting their territory returned”

You only go ahead and do such a provocation if you expect to keep your seat in Kiev (that's is, the elites and puppet masters expect to keep power - Zelensky is disposable).

Everyone can game around a small Russian intervention. A small scale operation localized to the East doesn't pose a real threat to their power or turn the chessboard upside down. The Ukrainian army can go up in smokes but if Kiev isn't taken over, everything can be replenished. In other words, a small scale intervention like in Georgia will just reinforce their calculus that it's OK to do a provocation to exert pain on Russia/allies and push forward their agendas of sanctions/containment etc. Russia's leadership (dear leader and cadre) has become way too predictable in that sense, thus inviting aggression and provocation (they only have themselves to blame).

Full scale intervention that goes for Kiev on the other hand...... now we talking.

Russians will have the element of surprise in terms of the scope of their intervention. For their sake, they better make the most of it. The world will be watching. No place for the weak.

Even if the strike is local I don't think I would want to be in the SBU building in Kiev with a couple of Kinzals heading at high speed for its roof. Plus many other military sites all over the country. Russia I suspect will try to make it as expensive and difficult as possible to rebuild the military in Ukraine.

Ships are leaving Russian ports all over Russia as they make for the locations of exercised. Those coming out of the Baltic are either heading for the North Sea or west of Ireland.

I think he means why 20 S-400 send there when Ukraine has not even 20 flyable aircraft ?

It's mostly to deter NATO.

As far as can be gleaned only 2 not 20 have been moved into Belarus.

..Uh, dude, the S-400 base division includes 8-12 launchers (from 4 to 16 missiles in various equipment on each launcher).

If Russia is going to do something aggressive they sure are blowing it bigly. Can’t wait to long and wait for nato to bring more and assets in. Analysis paralysis is bad for situation.
