The means of air defense (air defense) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been suppressed, the military infrastructure of air bases has been disabled, Ukrainian border guards do not offer resistance to the Russian military. Yes on the face of it going in against a military equipped with a significant amount S-300s, BUKs, tunguska etc, who have been allegedly preparing for it for 8yrs with various upgrades & without any defensive terrain to use, should be guaranteed to lose a few.

If the AD is fully suppressed now as alleged there should be few more.

This will only result in more deaths. Ukraine needs to clamp down on the likes of Azov battalions but an invasion of one sovereign state by another is not the way to go about it.

Both Georgia and Ukraine have been regional conflicts that were directly and strategically relevant for Russia. The same cannot be said for various conflicts carried out by western coalitions since that very same time.
