After that I would build a fence and dig a trench along the western border.

Not the pilot's fault - he just follows orders (briefing) from his sq commander and he did. They got him because he flew the same flight path every day as per instruction but keep spewing bs.

Yes it was now your just lying, he flew too low, he kept his bomb bay doors open which he wasn't supposed and he did other things incorrect
Arkanghelsk wrote:From what I have seen FSB spetsnaz is the best equipped and trained for urban combat
They train at night, with quadcopters, drones, UGV, and all that
But it's a good thing for VDV and ground force to get this experience
Also it could help get better procurement if their officers see what they could use
. I believe it is normal also in the west, FBI probably has some special forces that are much more capable in this kind of environment than the navy seals, the marines or the ranger..

You can read the story told by the pilot himself here >> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_F-117A_shootdown
He flew well above low cloud cover...and his wingman took some damage as well
Now go troll somewhere else.

Kosovo for US = Georgia for Russia. 1 bomber lost for both and few jets.
Iraq for US = Ukraine for Russia. More planes lost and lot of ground equipement too.
They are very similar. US in Iraq used lot of effort to hide their losses. I remember watching a documentary in Afghan about french troops. They had US help at one moment who suffered losses and they forbid tge TV crew to film the destroyed vehicles.
And I would give the advantage to Russia. They fight alone conrrary to US who bring a coalition everytime (you also need to take into account coalition losses for Iraq and Afghanistan as well as in Kosovo because looking at only US ones isn't fair). Russia goes in alone and it has less weaponery and recco tools than US yet they don't any worse overall.

Ukranian Army used Igla to shoot down two Ka-52. But it looks to me countermeasures spoofed one missile of the three plus launched, and the Ka 52 that grounded reportedly had the Igla counterjam and home on the countermeasure pod.
Not sure how the Mi-24 got hit. If the Ka-52 has countermeasures obviously the Mi-24 has that too. Or maybe as in the case of the Ka-52 a couple of missiles were probably fired at a number of Mi-24s and unfortunately one of them was hit.

Another su-34 may have been down. So 2 su-34 and 1 su-30 and 1 mi-24 today. They suck at SEAD. Bring those kh-25P and kh-31 and drones. Where are the su-57 to launch kh-31 from safe areas ?

This is maddening, su30 and su34 should not be lost over this damn country
Where are the big strikes, why are these aircraft operating so close to the ground?
Whoever is in charge of this operation is exposing the credibility of the armed forces to unnecessary pressure and danger it really is unbearable to watch
They have everything they need to hunt the AD but the officer suck. They don't use everytjing they have. Su-25 armed with kh-25 should be all over the place.

I think at this point everyone is in agreement, it's not western propaganda,
If we go off MOD numbers alone, it shows a problem
I dont think it's the officers, it's the stupid kremlin
Look any Pro Russia thread and see what people are saying
**** the brotherly people, bomb them to smithereens

When it comes to AD destruction bombing people is useless. Those system need to be destroy asap even for the Kremlin. There shouldn't be any restriction for their destruction by the kremlin like there is for bombing cities.
