Arkanghelsk wrote:On March 17, a young military pilot of the fighter aviation regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Senior Lieutenant Ilya Perepelkin, performed his feat in the sky over Ukraine in an unequal air battle.
Performing a task in the air to cover the advancing group of Russian troops, Perepelkin on a Su-35 aircraft patrolled in the duty zone, searching for air targets in a given area. In a difficult electronic environment, Ilya found two Su-27 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force preparing to launch an air strike on our troops. Having assessed the situation, Perepelkin made a decision instantly and entered into an unequal air battle, immediately knocking down the host in a frontal attack. After that, in conditions of severe overload, he skillfully performed a maneuver, turning 180 degrees, went into the tail of the Ukrainian " drying "and shot down the plane with two missiles.
Thus, Ilya Perepelkin not only ensured the dominance of Russian aviation in the air and created conditions for a successful offensive by Russian army units, but also showed the whole world that Zelensky's "aces of diamonds" are burning for a sweet soul.
aw. Should be Maj. Viktor Dudin. Those two kills would make him an Ace.

I communicate quite often with Israelis in the crypto and investment fields. I will say most of them are just normal people. Some disagree with Putin, some agree but on average they all have a care for Russia. It's the Russians living in France, UK, US and alike are more of a problem.

Serge @SergeRousskikh · 23m Two very interesting #Ukraine insides that could have a cataclysmic effect on the #RussiaUkraineConflict 🧵:
1. The encircled Ukrainian military and #Azov battalions in #Mariupol believe they have to hold on long enough for Kiev and Moscow to strike a peace deal.
2. In the same breath, Ukrainian insiders say #Kiev, after Washington announced its billion-dollar lethal aid package, is no longer interested in striking a deal and is using negotiations as stalling tactic till the weapons shipment arrives.
Importance? Well, analysts believe the encircled troops in #Mariupol have at most 7 days left. Once routed it’s only a matter of time till the much larger squadron in the #Donbass – ~40K troops – is surrounded. How will they react knowing the way Mariupol brigades were abandoned?
White Swan @SDyorin · 4h #Ukraine conducts strikes on civilians in retaliation for their loyalty to #Russia. Every territory, lost by Ukraine automatically turns into target for #genocide for rabid militarists in #Kiev, like it happened to #Kherson (directly threatened by #Zelenskyy) and #Kharkov regions.
Gleb Bazov @gbazov · 55m Since half of my family is from Mariupol, I can assure you that I speak with authority on the subject: Mariupol has never been a "#Ukraine|ian" city. NO ONE in Mariupol speaks Ukrainian—not even the people who support #Zelensky's regime and ran off already. Mariupol is #DNR.

I don't think that normal jews have anything to do with it but the oligarch jews which are in unbelievable disproportions in high leading positions of every sector despite being one of the smallest religions on the planet. The fact that jews use nazis, fill the Rada, the companies, make deals with neo-cons or sell companies to westerners who have been exploiting and stealing from Russia for years. They need to be executed by special commando regardless of their location and seize everything own, which is Russian anyway.

Spriter @spriter99880 · 4h The Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russia launched Kalibr missiles at Ukraine even from the Caspian Sea.
So, whilst on the Air Force, things are really getting desperate now
Spriter @spriter99880 Curious is the decision of the Kiev regime - the creation of infantry units from "wingless" military pilots, aircraft technicians and airfield attendants.
According to a source from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the hope of receiving aircraft from "friends" from NATO has finally died, and therefore it was decided to use "orphan" personnel as ordinary cannon fodder.
Since the pilots are in every way "prepared much better than territorial battalions and are able to control personnel, and most importantly, carry out the necessary orders so that their personnel do not scatter."

This is standard procedure for the Azov goons. They set up shop on floors sandwiching civilians in between. I recall one of these "heroes" yapping about how they are the "true" soldiers. They are terrorist cowards.
Good to see Chechens deployed to Syria and now Ukraine. They should not carry the NATzO sponsored stain from the 1990s.

It takes at least 2-3 months for a very experienced pilot to transition to a new type of aircraft. A MiG-29 pilot can't just jump into a Grippen/F-16 and become the Ghost of Kiev.

I see the WH40K vibes I mentioned yesterday haven't been lost on others.
Funny twist to it is that the Imperium of Man has the Byzantine double-headed eagle as well. A symbol Russia adopted after the marriage between the last Byzantine (and last heir of the Roman empire) princess and the Tsar of Russia in the late 1400s. Hence the eagle, hence the "third Rome" stuff and so on (Constantinople, and with it the last remnant of the Roman empire fell to the Muslims right there and then, princess Sofia married Ivan III though).
The Russo-Turkish wars centuries later appear quite fateful in this context, even though the Palaiologos/Rurik bloodline had ended and Romanovs were running the show. Russia liberated most of the Balkans and would have finally re-christianized Constantinople had it not been for the British-French intervention (Crimean war).
They came to aid the jihadists already in the mid 1800's, funny parallels...

No one offered them F-16. MiG-29 still stuck in transit for time being. Most likely we won't see them.
One last entry to today's war journal, posted here for your benefit
18.03.22. Message from military observer Marina Kharkova:
The Ukrainians are now using these tactics to slow down or disrupt our progress. They shoot at our units at a certain distance, and then cover the area with artillery. When our forces gain a foothold on the ground, ukro patrols with night vision goggles and thermal cameras begin to enter the rear a to destroy our positions or throw grenade
However, they will not stop our progress. The Ukropos are already cornered and cannot maneuver. Volnovakha-as our soldiers told us, they found a cemetery near the city, where Ukros soldiers buried civilians in a trench, whom the enemy shot in the back and killed when trying to get out of the city. this was discovered by accident, after the earth sank into the field, near the highway. It is not known how many victims there are, since the territory near the grave is littered with anti-personnel mines...
Summary: 1. Our allied forces are clearing the outskirts of Marinka. While some units moved directly from Aleksandrovka and took the whole blow on themselves, new ones came from other sides and hit the enemy from the flanks. Fighters note the special help of artillery and air support, which nails the enemy on the ground. 2. The Nazis and Ukros soldiers began to flee Mariupol in separate groups and alone. In the course of the filtration measures in Mangush, five punishers disguised as citizens were arrested in just one hour. They pulled them aside, pinned them down and shook their heads before handing them over to state security agencies. They are all involved in the destruction of the civilian population. In Bezymyannoye, a Ukrainian sniper was caught trying to escape disguised as a refugee. During the search, they found characteristic signs on him: a bruised shoulder from the recoil of the butt, fingers with calluses and several other typical sniper signs. 3. Mariupol-despite the resistance, our assault units, internal troops and special forces of Rosgvardiya have made significant progress in clearing the enemy and are gradually practicing it with several waves of advances. The special operation is not over yet. 4. Volnovakha-despite the establishment of control over it, many enemies are still hidden. As the soldiers said, "We found this shelter by chance while we were standing, smoking and in silence. And suddenly we hear voices under the floor, we thought we were hallucinating, we listen with more attention, we walked near the place, where, by the way, the cleaning had already passed and we did not expect any surprise, when suddenly something rustled beneath our feet, we remove a thin layer of snow and earth, then a layer with a plastic and saw a long trench where they hid the ukross. They barely had time to retreat before opening fire. They didn't want to give up and started throwing grenades at us. We hit them with a "Shmel" (incendiary rocket launcher) and that was it. And we will probably find more than one of these nests as we go along. In general, ours no longer give quarter, but everything depends on the circumstances. Those who give up and don't bark will probably be lucky.

Mariupol is not some small town in Ukraine. It is one of the key cities for the economy of the whole country. Similarly Kharkov is a scientific and technological as well as industrial center. This is why the regime is holding on to them tooth and nail. The whole conflict is centered on the eastern front from Kharkov down to Mariupol.
Odessa and Kiev will fall after the eastern front is lost for the regime.
