why do you expect Ukrainians to love you? Did Germans love US? or did Japanese? no they didn't. They will love once there is a govt which is not killing own citizens and there is food and work. After couple of years with a proper education you got the new gen of "Russian world" citizens.

Russia can just ban all Finnish freight, air flights (if it's not been restricted already), Northern Passage route. Russia does not need to say anything about Finland joining NATO
It has no unresolved territorial conflicts with Russia. Maybe they can dig up the pre-39 borders but I doubt it.
What's at stake in the Ukraine is US hegemony and the very existence of NATO.

I think this man connects things well.
I just wrote this: the European Union will foot the bill for the West's conflict with Russia. Giving up cheap and plentiful commodities doesn't seem like a smart move. But in fact many globalist governments can fall. The French could be a game changer if Le Pen wins, which could change things.
Another thing I've noticed, which doesn't help Ukraine at all, is Zelensky's intrusive behavior. He acts like an unemployed person that at first everyone tries to help, but if he doesn't find a job soon, it starts to be inconvenient. Nobody likes people who are asking all the time. He needs to solve his own problems. He is becoming a saturated person. A little while longer, no one can take it anymore.

You don't get how dangerous it is for the world.
Finland is at artillery range of the bases where they have half of their SSBN and something like 40% of their sytategical nuclear missiles.
US could use nuclear shells from 152 and 203mm guns for a first strike.
It's way more dangerous than tomahawks in Ukraine or cuban missile crisis.
This could lead to a first nuclear strike on Finland and nato HQ to deter this happening.

These countries have military terms will be of little relevance. It's a stupid move as it's equivalent to putting a target on the forehead.
