He should arrange a personal meeting and then let the lowest most cocky official tell him to not waste his time with such absurd childish requests.

Why calling ? Ukraine is winning, russia lost its military, Putin is done, Russia will be balkanized and its ressources will go to the west for free.

He was going to offer unconditional surrender, but there is still no phone line to the bunker in Vladivostok. Vlad can't pick up.

Russia doesn't recognise Germany as a soverign independent nation. If the Kremlin wants to know Berlins opinion on any matter, they will ask Washington.

Pushilin officially appealed to Putin, urging him to recognize the results of the referendum in the DPR as soon as possible after it is held.
Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,
Dear compatriots,
I appeal to all Russians, to all Russian people who wholeheartedly sympathize with what is happening now in the Donbass.
This is the ninth year of war on our land, and all this time the Ukrainian regime has been doing everything to wipe the Donbass off the face of the earth. In addition to the shelling, Kiev staged economic, transport, and water blockades, trying to create a humanitarian catastrophe on our territory.
At the end of last year, the enemy began to pull a huge amount of military equipment and personnel to the contact line, and the number of provocations increased significantly. Western countries supplied huge amounts of military equipment to Kiev. In early 2022, the escalation from Ukraine began to gain momentum again. The offensive of Kiev was a matter of several days, which was later confirmed by the evidence found in the headquarters left by the enemy.
Russia's recognition of the Donetsk People's Republic and the launch of a special military operation thwarted the Kiev regime's aggressive plans. The liberation operation began, and the allied forces of the Russian Federation, the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics began to expel the enemy from the settlements of Donbass occupied by Ukraine.
We all saw the state in which the enemy left Volnovakha, Mariupol, and other settlements. The militants did not hide from the locals that they would leave no stone unturned from their homes. We have hundreds of testimonies that Ukrainian terrorists fired tanks at high-rise buildings at point-blank range, set fire to what they could not destroy with shelling.
This is exactly how these fiends behave now, firing at our settlements without any military necessity.
Firing at the central square of Donetsk, they know that there are no military facilities on it. Firing at Baku Commissars Square, they know that it is a crowded place, where public transport stops, shops, banks are located. Yesterday, cynical attacks from Ukraine claimed the lives of 10 people, 11 were injured.
Ukraine opens fire on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic from American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, Tochka-U tactical missile systems, NATO 155 mm howitzers, French Caesar self-propelled howitzers, Uragan and Grad multiple launch rocket systems. Thousands of guns are aimed daily at children, women, the elderly-civilians of Donbass.
The enemy throws prohibited Petal mines in residential areas only in order to injure as many civilians as possible. Inhumans, there's no other way to put it. So far, 67 cases of civilians, including two children, being blown up on Petalki have been registered.
In total, 9,044 residents of the Republic were killed during the war, including 120 children!
The armed formations of Ukraine purposefully disable critical infrastructure facilities. Every day, I repeat – every day, hundreds of substations are de-energized by shelling from Ukraine, high-voltage power lines are damaged, and tens of thousands of subscribers are left without electricity.
Only in our historical territory, without taking into account the liberated settlements, about eight thousand apartment buildings and more than 72 thousand private houses were damaged.
Residents of the Republic steadfastly tolerate terrorist attacks by Ukrainian militants. I am proud of the courage of my fellow countrymen. But any patience comes to an end. Ukraine deliberately, I would even say defiantly, crossed all possible red lines. Then in 2014, in order to protect ourselves from the nationalist criminal regime in Kiev, we held a referendum on the independence of the Donetsk People's Republic, and we were sure that we would definitely hold the second one – on joining the Russian Federation. People are looking forward to this event the most. This is the main aspiration of the people of Donbass – to be part of the Russian Federation.
Therefore, we are absolutely confident in the results of the referendum. And we intend to hold it immediately.

But until I see the actually declaration, we shall see if this is smoke blowing or finally after getting kicked in the ass but a series of embarrassments caused by their own doing woke them up

No the type of large scale forces you'd expect to see from a general mobilization. Would not start moving until the order is given.

Macron was denied a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation. The call has been reportedly delayed for a few days.

“There will be no general mobilization”, says Andrey Kartapolov, Chairman of the State Duma for Defense and one of the authors of today’s amendments on the appointment of the concepts of "mobilization", "martial law" and "wartime" in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

It seems the next phase of the conflict is about to start.billybatts91 wrote:Breaking: Wagner PMC says Kiev is transferring all its forces for a decisive attack on Russian Armed Forces. Apparently, even forces from Kiev are being mobilized - ASB
^ I am not sure that "general" mobilization is necessary. If the regions vote to join the Russian Federation (which they will), Russia has access to the full regular army as well as 2 million reserves to cleanse and defend the new regions of the Federation.

This referendum is the best of all possible options. This means the whole time Russian elite were quiet the last couple weeks is because of this referendum. It means that you and I are not told the fine details of what is to come and there is a good reason for it, and that Putin's regime is not stupid.
What would be absolutely delicious is if Indian and Chinese observers came during the referendum to prove the democratic process. Then hear the west say "we dont approve! It is not democratic because we say it isnt!" Dont think the Chinese and Indians would wish to step out that far tho.

Agreed. Sets victory objectives, allows mobilization of the regular army (including conscripts), just waiting for if there is an actual speech, because I want to hear it.TMA1 wrote:This referendum is the best of all possible options.

Defense industry organizations need to provide troops with required weapons as soon as possible - Putin
20.09.2022 14:44:51Moscow. September 20th. Interfax - Defense industry organizations must provide the troops with the necessary weapons and equipment as soon as possible, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Defense-industrial complex organizations need to ensure the delivery of the required weapons and equipment to the troops, weapons of destruction as soon as possible," he said during a meeting with the heads of defense-industrial complex enterprises.

Duma voted today laws about mobilization, war but also about "war time" - imho this is about internal mobilization - industry in war time can work longer less bureaucracy + Putins remark above imho is about that.
The last 404 offensive proved that NATO doesn't care about thousands of dead bodies. Stream of weapons wont dry either ,,, so wave after wave until they overrun Russians if nothing changes.
