Put it this way, how many ISIS and Al Nursa members did Russia and Syria capture in their Anti-Terrorist Operation? 

Turning this from an SMO to a ATO means that every SBU operative, Neonazi Battalion member, Mercenary and possibly the AFU itself gets branded as terrorists and treated as such. In other words, extermination will become the priority and capture a very distant second.

Of course theyve been half assing it the whole time if that's how you want to put it. No command centers were touched. No communications infrastructure was touched. Nobody important was assassinated. They went into an offensive operation 1:1. So they were short handed by a factor of 2.

Looks like partial mobilization of the Russian reserves has been signed off by decree.
That's unexpected, as it's a economic drain.

Also industry has been instructed to increase military production.
