When he ran for president, his platform was all-inclusive, and totally contrary to the polarizing and destructive agenda of Maidan oligarch and nationalist Poroshenko. He was basically supported because he claimed to want to actually implement Minsk II (which Poroshenko had openly and proudly been shitting upon, which of course Western media never reported..)

Then, as he was elected, he almost instantly betrayed his voting base by caving in to the violent UA far-right (a demographic bolstered by western intelligence agencies since the late 1940s). Threatened, probably.

He has since then tried his best at speaking Ukrainian only, and he's been praising the UON-UPA, Bandera, Petliura, all that.

My guess is that he simply can't back down from this. The moment he makes any sort of concession to Russia either the CIA or the domestic far-right elements (which physically surround him at all times) will whack him, and he knows this.

Such a sad state of affairs. We know where the blame lies.

Has nothing to do with air transport, all transport by companies from unfriendly nations.

IMO I think that Russia still doesn't appreciate what they are up against. The US is all in, they will back them up to the wall and force them to tapout. The absolute arrogance of US decision makers can be seen by the guests of this panel.

They see this as a kinda game with no consequences for the us. They are just moving pawns and pieces on a geopolitical chess board. The only thing that they would respect is brute force; nukes.

How many of you guys have legit fallout shelters nearby, by the way?

I'm not worried for real, but some subconcious part of my brain is still thinking about how to immediately bail if this dark September evening turns into day all of a sudden. Funny in a sense, how it's become a somewhat realistic scenario, caused by unrelenting western support to a by all conceivable standards corrupt fascist shithole.

That destroyed tank looks suspiciously like a T-72B3 due to the turret ERA, but not certain since we cant see the road wheel size. If its a T-72B3, thats excellent. Russians must destroy their tanks the Ukrainians captured as much as possible.

Without giving my exact location my city has several government offices, they make components for nuclear weapons less than 10 miles from my home, a major bomber base is 50 miles in one direction and two large army bases are 50 miles west. I ain't surviving the inferno if this thing goes nuclear. Nope, I am going to pop some popcorn, sit out on my porch, and enjoy a view of the apocalypse.

The reason some are actually talking about real use of nukes to hit targets to destroy them , is because Russia ( The doctrine ) has wrongly interpreted it , since Russia or essentially Russia or Russian speakers did come under attack , and attack was existential and from nuclear armed states  . Yet the deterrence value of nukes was not used to deter . Hence the West escalated further and was allowed to do so , up to and including possible use of nukes against pipelines . The main value of nukes is deterrence and not mass suicide and they have to be brandished regularly to scare the living daylights out of the enemy . I said before and say now even more strongly , that the nukes must explode on TV and near some enemy positions or vacant enemy facility , say North pole , and inch forward . Otherwise they have to be used for real as they have probably been used , therefore requiring a response . But if the pipeline attack was nuclear , then a mirror response is needed . But do not worry ! Nukes are self-limiting and allow peace to exist . No need to get the pop corn out !

You can DIY a makeshift "shelter" inside your home that may help against the blast and some fallout as well

Best to construct it in the innermost part of the house. Place a door for each person at 60 degrees up against an inner wall.
Nail a piece of wood on the floor to prevent the doors from sliding. Pile bags filled with soil against the doors.
Place heavy furniture in front of the bags. Use as much dense materials as possible to cover all that.
100% wool gives excellent protection against fire - avoid any synthetic material - esp on your body.

If Russia decided to attack Europe, virtually all NATO military bases would be destroyed before it could react.
In addition, the state of the British FA is very doubtful, see what happened to their aircraft carrier just trying to leave for an exercise.
