Why cant they use something the size of an intercontinental missile loaded with conventional explosives ? And use it locally on a bridge like this

Borschevik, can locate Starlink terminals.
Which will be the real reason that they are losing access to them...
For example, people are outraged at how it is possible that after 11 months of limited military operation, Kievan junta is still capable to make a Fred Flinestone level and McGyver supported duct tape powered drones and use them.
The financial and production support of the rich and powerful west even if they are only 12% of the world...
Doesn't Russia have a bunker buster type FOAB to take out a bridge like that ?
They have plenty of 1.5 ton guided concrete piercing bombs and also Kh-29 missiles with 317kg HEAT warheads to undermine the foundations of heavy structures...

Underwater Russian drone hit the bridge connecting mainland Ukraine with the section connected to Romania in the Odessa region
Is there a landing in the southwest?

Good, now cut the Atlantic cable and sink some American LNG tankers, but be sure its all so mysterious. wrote:
They really need to pick on Norway, those fuckers a benefiting from their criminality, they can **** up Norway really badly. I would put it to Norway, Denmark and Sweden that they have conducted an overt act of war against the Russian Federation, they can follow the path of civil compensation or war. The choice is theirs.

Concrete piercing bomb would just make hole, unless you hit precisely the feet from the top. But even then just one part would be destroy and you could still repair it.

Now a non-military related video for all of our " professional" hard military men ( and women ) ! That's what my ex-wife said , on termination of my marriage " I am a professional , I don't cook anymore ! " It is like Syria , you have to collect the stragglers and those that are weak and lost , then you can herd the sheep ( no apologies here to the Ukro- Sheep Nazis ) in the right direction . In other words , you collect as much advantage to your side , before the big push . So a drone factory burning in Latvia ? Or other small and lost Euro-Sheep , Or Bridge burning in Romania ......collecting all the stray Sheep . If you are also a professional , then nobody cooks ! Destroying Bridge in this location , could indicate a future marine landing .

IIRC, the big Kherson bridge was under continuous Ukrainian attacks by HIMARS and the like, and they also only managed to disrupt traffic a bit each time.
It was only properly destroyed once the Russians placed demolition charges on key load-bearing structures during their retreat.
Or take the SBU/GUR suicide bombing of the Crimean bridge. Around 20 tons of explosives in a truck, a huge amount. Damage was substantial, but the bridge was still not put out of action for too long.
Anyway, this USV is interesting. Only long-range Russian "kamikaze"-USV I'd ever heard of before is the Poseidon. I wonder if this could have been a previously unseen conventionally armed (and propelled) ditto?
Or perhaps they quickly reverse-engineered those British ones, one or two were captured intact, after all. But the "technology" (it really isn't rocket science anyway) was already there.
During war, development and/or acquisition of new gear tends to move a lot faster, naturally.

BMP-3? Not a "tank", and not really in Ukrainian service either (they inherited a mere handful, like 4-5 pcs). Plus, no typical Ukrainian curry-diarrhea shitstain pixels? So, probably Russian.
Could be wrong, of course. But it is a recurring thing that these Twitter handles (or the various TG channels they tend to quote from) just make things up once a photo circulates.

And wrong.
Ukrs had noticable numbers of BMP-3 and those are quite common, surprisingly.
But this one is obviously Russian, as it is BMP-3M first of all. And the camo is Russian, too.

They hit this bridge multiple times with cruise missiles in the past, putting it out of action only for a while each time. Bridges are, as stated by previous posters, really difficult to properly blow up from afar if they are well-built.
It is only a question of goal and determination.
Russkie have a waste array of heavy weapon capable to take out this type of object.
It can be hit bullseye with Iskander, multiple cruise missiles, or some dedicated bunker-buster like Ch-29 that carries a 320kg warhead...
I suppose that Russkie are applying the exact amount of destruction they need.
For example, we have a second day of constant pulverizing of the power generation system. And this time they target the turbines they have spared till now.
A pause was quite long, so the Ukrs could repair some subsystems, running out of spare parts, turbines etc. And were hit again.

The situation in Artyomovsk (Bakhmut): On the night of February 10, assault groups of the RF Armed Forces crossed the E-40 highway and made their way to the settlement of Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, 20 km from Artyomovsk (Bakhmut).
Safe supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and movement along the Artyomovsk-Seversk, Artyomovsk-Slavyansk, Artyomovsk-Konstantinovka, and Khromovo-Chasov Yar routes is impossible. The roads are under the control of attack aircraft, Orlan-30 drones, rocket and self-propelled artillery of the RF Armed Forces. https://t.me/ukraina_ru/131781

Foreign mercenaries are being withdrawn from Artemovsk on an emergency basis. The city is being prepared for surrender
Residents of Chasov Yar, which lies outside Artemovsk, have reported that foreign mercenaries are being evacuated from the city for the second day in vehicles in the direction of Kostyantynivka and Kramatorsk.
Locals have also noted helicopters flying twice a day at low altitudes in the same direction. This mode of transport is probably used to evacuate important foreign specialists and wounded mercenaries.
Mobilized Ukrainians are sent to "compensate" the departed foreigners to hold the front.-a mercenary is far more expensive for Kiev than a forcibly mobilized citizen of Ukraine.

Big, big, promises. Too little to show for it. Now, the West is wondering if is it really worth going to war with Russia. They became more and more convinced that Russia means business. And that it will not stop. Collateral damage in all this play show is Ukraine. In the exact same way, the West helped Afghanistan, it will help Ukraine.
Of course, Arestovich realized that. I assume many from the ruling class of Kiev as well. They won't surrender. They can't. Nothing will justify them in the eyes of history why they lost the country. But, aside from philosophical reasons, they know they can't stop because of lunatics they helped create, such as Azov and similar scum will kill them on the spot.
Now, it is just buying time, waiting for something to happen. What is that something, they don't know themselves .
