There was a video of some Ukrainians rejoicing over having shot down a CM with some kind of MANPADS, and I believe it was that one, an old Kh-55 dummy/decoy.

Not that I take Ukrainian "statistics" seriously (I mean, "lol") but perhaps some of the inflation can be attributed to decoys like these. Then of course - 1 Kh-55 decoy shot down = 10 Kh-101s in Ukrainian propaganda. Or whatever their standard formula is.

I follow the UA MoD briefings closely, it is quite entertaining. The thing is that it seems like they count their own losses as enemy (ie Russian/LDNR/Wagner) ditto, likewise with everything else. Another way, they wouldn't just release single missiles at targets but would try to saturate the defense.
They don't do that. Single missiles are targeting separate targets. Flying in waves, nobody cares about the simultaneous strike.
Pics of real missiles taken down are being spotted rarer than those Ch-55 decoys.
I have no idea what is the distribution of missiles and dummies, but still, we are talking about separate cases of interception.

I wonder how easy it would be for Russia to convert old anti ship missiles such as P-15 termit etc and old surface to surface rockets such as FROG-3/5/7, maybe even some scuds and anti air missiles Sa-2, Sa-4,Sa-5 into surface to surface missiles with a GPS guidance or other simple fairly accurate system. I know the Houthi turned Sa-2 into surface to surface with a fairly decent success rate although I suspect help from Iran. All these systems have fairly large warheads a d would be ideal for smashing Nazi scum positions and infrastructure. Am not suggesting this because what the west have us believe Russia is running out of missiles but rather using up old stock and keeping the better stuff for more important or when precise targeting is needed. It would be a good way to clear out old stocks it's not everyday u get to blast Nazis away. And I can't imagine it would be difficult for Russia to implement and save money in terms of having to disarm and dispose of these munitions.

This is a bit like the discussion on using old aircraft like An-2 as AD bait or as Kamikaze drones. Am pretty sure Russia must have plenty of tired and worn aircraft laying around the aircraft only has to be airworthy for one last flight, I would imagine that they have plenty of worn L-39, Mig-15/17/19, Su-7, Su-22, Mig-21, Mig-23/27.
