On March 5, 2023, he wrote a letter to the commander of the NVO grouping about the urgent need to allocate ammunition. On March 6, at 8 o'clock in the morning, my representative at the headquarters had his pass canceled and was denied access to the group's headquarters.

Ammunition scuffles again? scratch Or another fake for AFU Laughing

The AFU will not leave Bakhmut — this decision was made today at a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters.

    Text readout:

Vladimir Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-In-Chief's headquarters
    March 6, 2023 - 13:36 pm

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-chief's headquarters.

Commanders of operational and strategic groups of troops reported on the situation in the main directions of the front.

The members of the Stavka discussed the situation in Bakhmut in particular detail. Assessing the course of the defense operation, the president asked the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and the commander of the operational and strategic group of troops "Khortytsia" Alexander Sirsky about further actions in the Bakhmut direction. They called for the continuation of the defensive operation and further strengthening of our positions in Bakhmut.

In addition, the issue of the supply of weapons and equipment and their distribution in operational areas was considered at the Headquarters meeting.

The meeting was also attended by: Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov, commanders of the branches of the armed forces and operational areas. Members of the government, heads of law enforcement agencies and law enforcement agencies joined the Stavka meeting.

Well that means also that manpower and resources will be removed from other areas (including Odessa, Zaporozhye and Kharkov).

I believe that Russia should allow ukrainian reinforcements to reach Artemovsk/Bakhmut, it is probably better to fight them there than having to repeat the same thing in Sloviansk and Kramatorsk immediately after that.

Doubt that this protest by PMC , about shortages is fake . To lure Ukrs into Bakhmut . Since the Ukrs seem to have backtracked on agreement to withdraw and Russia backtracked from allowing safe passage . And since voicing such concerns is highly divisive to morale and is far more harmful than beneficial . Therefore we face real lack of supplies to PMC , just when victory was assured . Are there people , who want to deny victory to Russia ? Prolong the war ? Who would benefit by prolonging the war ? Is it the ordinary people ? I am paying high Gas prices , going short on food in the UK , so that some military industry makes a profit ............

Once again, the Wagner people are right out of line saying this kind of thing on social media. I am surprised the poster didn't get arrested for treason. The status of the ammunition supply to various sections of the military, during a war, are state secrets.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has supported the idea of extending the project to create a "mobilized family passport" throughout the country, which displays the needs of the fighter's family.

On Monday, the head of state met via video link with the Governor of the Kurgan region Vadim Shumkov, who said that such a project is being implemented in the region.

"I want to thank you for the initiatives to support the special military operation and, above all, of course, the families of our servicemen. This idea of a passport for each mobilized family is very good, and I think it will need to be replicated throughout the country," Putin commented.

The governor, in particular, said that in the Kurgan region, the families of the mobilized were taken into custody. "A wide range of issues - from gasification, roof repairs, apartment repairs, medical issues, one-time financial assistance, everything is solved in a timely manner," Shumkov said. According to him, the social portrait of each family was determined "with the issues that need to be addressed."

I guess that it is some distant flash with some credibility.
In both world wars, individual soldiers' shovels proved to be quite effective close combat tool.
Especially in the WWI trench warfare, they made a renaissance of medieval melee weapons.

Those are real examples of frontline used weaponry :

Russian special military operation in Ukraine #39 - Page 32 15350-1

It even gets the name of "tranche mace", as was easier to operate.

So yes, I can believe that soldiers can use a sharpened shovel in close combat.

You know, good propaganda always contains some anchor made of truth. Only misinterpreted.

You believe? all modern armies have this and have for decades hell even before ww1

In the US for example we call them E-tools which stands for Entrenching tool, etc a small collapsable shovel you can use and the ends always are sharpened to a degree, the Russian analog for example is the MPL-50

    Ukrainian 46th brigade

A lottery awaits all comrades who leave the city. Several evacuation groups tried to leave at night and during the day. One returned after being shelled by the orcs, and two, unfortunately, did not. Leaving the city is now almost impossible. Only with a great risk to life. The only two roads are now under the fire control of the occupiers. Both day and night. Even dirt and back roads.

       Solidarity syndrome, hello?

This is what we were talking about. The defense of a city to destroy enemy troops should not end with the impossibility of leaving the city. The city is not surrounded - no.

Because our comrades are making great efforts to hold back the corridor from Bakhmut to Kostyantynivka. To do this, for several days they have been conducting constant counterattacks to push the enemy away from the Bakhmut-Konstantinovka and Bakhmut-Chasiv Yar highways.

The enemy is well aware of this, so it simply shells everything leaving Bakhmut with all kinds of artillery and aircraft. Russia has no goal to physically close the exit from the city, we have already talked about this. They don't want to waste their forces on storming the besieged city, the task is to squeeze us out of Bakhmut. Good luck to all our comrades.

    https://t.me/sitreports/5361

    From Ukrainian TG channels:

🔺 The General Staff continues to form new brigades for the spring counterattack on the Crimea. For this, more than 10 thousand soldiers trained in the EU and Britain are understaffed with those mobilized in Ukraine and transferred to the Dnieper / Zaporozhye.

🔺 More than 10 Leopard tanks arrived in Ukraine, but they are "protected" until April, when the thaw ends.

🔺 On the scale of corruption: the head of the Lviv region, Maxim Kozitsky, issued 60,000 exit permits for men under the Shlyakh system. At the same time, the cost of such a permit is from 3 to 7 thousand dollars . And that's just in one area.

🔺 In addition, a lot of money is made on the purchase of military weapons, the cost of which is 300-500% higher than the purchase price. The authorities also acquire the same equipment several times, and then write it off as losses at the front. The same thing happens with medicines/equipment/clothing for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is a standard trooper tool since the Roman army.
So there is nothing new here.
Every army has them, today converted to multitools.
What might be new is the fact that those have been used as a close combat weapon of choice.
It is not so widely known fact.
Especially in WW2, as WW1 was so specific that melee weapon was reinvented, with a scary variety.

    Edit :
Quite an impressive strongpoint on heights controlling the supply road to Artemovsk.

    https://riafan.ru/23925513-_nastoyaschaya_krepost_boitsi_chvk_vagner_vzyali_krupnii_opornii_punkt_vsu_pod_bahmutom

Pay attention to the construction of this stronghold.
It is made with prefabricated structures, like walls, doors etc.
The front is covered with antiRPG steel fances, and the thing looks well prepared, made, and architected.
It was manned by the 93rd Brigade and Jaegers.

Musicians took it in 3 days.

I like the guy who is hosting them Laughing
"This is a quite serious strongpoint, but nothing we can't handle. We can take them, and the stronger & better ones, nam po barabanu"Laughing Laughing

Just trying to figure out how to translate it into English ... something like "we don't give a shit how serious these will be". Laughing Laughing Laughing

A guy in a jacket with Ukro flag is getting shot. You don´t see from whom. We´ve seen a lot of videos of Ukros killing Ukros,
so I wouldn´t jump to the conclusion that this one was killed by some Russian.

    Shovels.
Most impressive are the long-range high-precision shovels hitting targets all over 404.  lol1

Looks like an older video. Still not a good look if it’s army. But it was question of time when reprisals appear. Eye for an eye and all that.
Best not to “slava ukraininy”, especially if your hosts could be wagnerians. What can you do? Send them to jail?

That shovel was designed by and popular with the forerunner to spetsnaz units in WWII and it was used as a weapon. Still required training with Spetsnaz units today.
