Welt has a sensation news this morning - IAEA inspectors have found mines on the territory of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant after all!

The average person reading this headline will probably think that Zelensky was right when he spoke about Russian nuclear terrorism.

But if you read the article, it turns out that the anti-personnel mines are located between the two fences of the nuclear power plant in the safety lane. Agree that the difference is enormous: powerful mines on the roof of the reactors, as Zelensky said, and anti-personnel mines in the security strip - where they should be.

It is true, but most of those numbers will not be for Ukraine, they are making up leningrad military district, and the Moscow military district

I doubt that. They will likely want every single unit of their troops to get combat experience. Troops in those districts will just be rotated in and out of Ukraine.

Part of the problem is that some Russians believe in that, too.

So Russia lost Ka-52, finally Ukrainians managed to get AA systems close to contact lines. MANPADs were not very effective, especially at night, so they had to bring on the vehicle. Took the a month to even try this.

They have already mobilised their combat experienced forces, so the next mobilisation wont be so combat ready and will not be mobilised and ready for combat as quickly as the last lot.

They will not be sent to combat areas

They will take up positions around the new Leningrad Military District, and Belarus borders with Lithuania and Suwalki

Belarus with nuclear tipped iskander can stop Poles and Lithuanians from any ideas,

But they could receive B61 in a tactical exchange

"western sources" is enough to have doubts over whatever being published .

Russia to mobilise more troops ? And send them where ? Suwalki gap ? Forget Donbas ? ....because Polish have moved Tanks to border with Belarus ? What...they are going to attack ? Then why advertise the move ? Therefore Polish only making political move . If Russia can mobilise another 700,000 troops , then why not send them all to Donbas ? One big concentrated push for another six months . Liberate the four regions and then sit tight ? What the NATO will advance somewhere against Russia ? What are the Nukes for ? Decoration for Christmas Tree ? Even then troops are mobile , can move laterally across , as and when need arises . The need has not risen for deployment in Suwalki . No need to disperse and weaken forces . Disagree with Russia and Belarus stance regarding not working with NATO , to partition Ukraine . The offer must exist and be conditional to stopping supplies to Kiev . I do not see any other better solutions .

Hard battle near Orekhov: the enemy, with the support of aviation, threw into battle several groups of tanks.

In the last few days, after the failure of several attacks and the loss of equipment, the Armed Forces of Ukraine regrouped, moving equipment and assault groups to Novodanilovka and hiding them in the landing areas.
This morning enemy planes attacked from afar and tanks and armored vehicles went into battle trying to break through the 291st Regiment's defenses and enter the village of Rabotino.
After attacking 10 pieces of equipment, the enemy threw more than a dozen American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and tanks.
The armored groups suffered significant losses as they came under heavy fire from artillery and guided missiles from the special forces.
The fire from MLRS, howitzers and anti-tank systems destroyed at least 7 pieces of equipment in total.
Our tanks also entered the battle and opened fire on the approaching enemy.
