In a now censored interview broadcast by Israeli state radio and translated by Electronic Intifada, Israeli settler and survivor of the resistance’s offensive Yasmin Porat said that Israeli forces shot and killed their own people during Hamas fighters’ entry into the settlements at the start of Al-Aqsa Flood.
“They eliminated everyone, including the hostages, because there was very, very heavy crossfire.”
- Yasmin Porat, Israeli survivor of Al-Aqsa Flood from the Be'eri settlement.
Porat also said that she and others were treated very well by the resistance fighters of Al-Qassam and Quds Brigades, who calmed them down, told them they were not going to hurt them, and gave them something to eat and drink.
During a Channel 12 interview, she added that although the resistance fighters were heavily armed, she never saw them shoot captives or threaten them with guns.
The accounts from survivors stand in stark contrast to the widespread fabricated claims found in western media outlets that say Hamas’ forces did everything from “beheading babies” to torturing and raping settlers.
